Packers' Jordan Love: Will play in second preseason game
Head coach Matt LaFleur said that he plans for Love and the Packers' other offensive starters to take some snaps during Friday's preseason game versus the Broncos, Rob Demovsky of ESPN.com reports.
Love looks poised to play for the second week in a row after he took the field for the opening series in Thursday's 28-9 loss to the Steelers in the exhibition opener. While LaFleur didn't go into specifics regarding his plan for Love's workload, the quarterback will likely be in line to play more than the one possession, but perhaps not much more than that. LaFleur added that Love is unlikely to play in the preseason finale Aug. 28 versus the Cardinals.

Packers' Jordan Love: Gets one series Thursday
Love got the start in Thursday's 28-9 preseason loss to the Steelers, completing three of five passes for 18 yards.
The 27-year-old QB handled only one possession in the Packers' preseason opener, but Love led his team to a field goal before being replaced by Tyrod Taylor. Keeping Love healthy ahead of Week 1 will be a top priority for Green Bay, as he's missed two regular-season games each of the last two years. He's coming off a 2025 campaign in which he completed a career-high 66.3 percent of his passes for 3,381 yards and 23 TDs with just six INTs.

Packers' Jordan Love: Expected to play in preseason opener
Love is scheduled to play in Thursday's preseason game at Pittsburgh, though Packers coach Matt LaFleur said Tuesday that he reserves the right to change his mind, Rob Demovsky of ESPN.com reports.
If Love does end up playing, history suggests it'll be his lone appearance of the preseason. He may be stuck with a mixed crew of starters and backups, given that RB Josh Jacobs (groin), TE Tucker Kraft (knee), WR Jayden Reed (ankle) and WR Matthew Golden (toe) have all missed time recently.

Packers' Jordan Love: Building better timing with WRs
Love said that working mostly with Christian Watson, Jayden Reed and Matthew Golden (toe) this summer has helped improve his timing with his wide receivers, Ryan Wood of USA Today reports.
Love noted that due to the team's depth at the position last summer, the Packers rotated wide receivers more often, and it made it more difficult to build chemistry. With Romeo Doubs gone to New England as a free agent and Dontayvion Wicks traded to the Eagles, Green Bay now has a clear wideout trio atop the depth chart. Across 15 regular-season starts last season, Love completed 66.3 percent of his passes for 3,381 yards and a 23:6 TD:INT. Being healthy after last summer's thumb injury should also help Love heading into 2026.
