Jibri Blount: Reaches injury settlement
Blount has reached a settlement with the Dolphins, per the NFL's official transaction log.
Blount inked a deal with Miami in May, but he'll become a free agent after reaching the injury settlement. His lack of football experience in college will make it tough to latch on elsewhere.

Dolphins' Jibri Blount: Gets opportunity in Miami
The Dolphins signed Blount to a contract Thursday.
Blount didn't play a snap of football during his time at North Carolina State, instead having impressed as a basketball player. The son of Hall of Fame cornerback Mel Blount will now work to transition to tight end with the Dolphins.
