Jaguars' Ross Matiscik: Inks extension with Jacksonville
Matiscik signed a two-year, $3.8 million extension with the Jaguars on Wednesday, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
Matiscik is now set to remain in Jacksonville after spending the first six seasons of his NFL career with the Jaguars. This new deal makes him the highest-paid long snapper in the league, and he'll look to make his fourth consecutive All-Pro team during the 2026 season.

Matiscik may have been injured making a tackle on punt returner Chimere Dike early in the first quarter. DaVon Hamilton has taken over at long snapper and will likely finish the game if Matiscik is unable to return.

Matiscik returned to his role as long snapper in the third quarter of Sunday's game. The starter reclaimed his position from DaVon Hamilton and will likely play the rest of Sunday's contest.
