Bernard was a full participant at Thursday's practice, Michael Gehlken of The Dallas Morning News reports.

With Keanu Neal (chest/elbow) potentially unavailable for the contest, Bernard could be asked to play a larger role on defense for the team's wild-card matchup.

Cowboys' Francis Bernard: Activated from IR
Bernard (hamstring) was activated from the designated to return list Saturday, Calvin Watkins of The Dallas Morning News reports.
Bernard has been out since training camp with the injury. After making the team as an undrafted free agent in 2020, Bernard was expected to be a depth piece for the Cowboys' linebacker unit. Now that he's healthy he'll likely take on that role while also contributing on special teams.

Cowboys' Francis Bernard: Exits practice with injury
Bernard left Friday's practice with a hamstring injury, Michael Gehlken of The Dallas Morning News reports.
