The Jets placed Oliver (knee) on injured reserve Monday.

Jets' Isaiah Oliver: Re-signing with Gang Green
The Jets agreed to terms on a contract with Oliver on Wednesday, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.
The details of the deal have yet to be announced, but Oliver will play for the Jets at least for the 2025 campaign. He played in all 17 regular-season games for the Jets in 2024 (including seven starts) and finished with 57 tackles (15 solo), including 1.0 sacks, and three pass defenses. The veteran corner figures to play a prominent role in the Jets' secondary for the 2025 season.

Oliver totaled 57 tackles (42 solo), including 1.0 sacks, along with three pass defenses over 17 contests (seven starts) during the regular season.
Oliver's role and defensive snap share fluctuated in his first season with the Jets, but he stayed healthy and was active for all 17 of the team's games. The veteran defensive back logged 10 fewer tackles than in his prior season (which he spent with San Francisco) but increased his defensed-pass total by one. Oliver will be an unrestricted free agent upon the beginning of the offseason.

Jets' Isaiah Oliver: Gets expanded role Sunday
Oliver recorded seven tackles (four solo) and a pass defensed during Sunday's 25-22 loss at New England.
He had been rotating in and out of action up until Sunday's contest, but with Tony Adams (hamstring) sidelined, Oliver was on the field for nearly every one of the Jets' defensive snaps in Week 8. He could be in line for a similar role in Week 9 versus the Texans if Adams still can't go.

Oliver signed a one-year contract with the Jets on Sunday, Rich Cimini of ESPN.com reports.
Oliver was a mainstay in Atlanta's secondary over the first five seasons of his career. He then signed with the 49ers as a free agent in March 2023, going on to tally 67 tackles and one interception while appearing in all 17 regular-season games, including six starts. Oliver was then released by San Francisco on Feb. 23, allowing him to sign with a new team before the start of the new league year Wednesday.

The 49ers released Oliver on Friday, Matt Maiocco of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.
Oliver just had a fairly successful season as a rotational cornerback in his first year with San Francisco, but it seems as if the team has now decided to part ways with the 27-year-old. He was able to post 67 total tackles, two pass deflections and one interception while appearing in all 20 of the 49ers' contests (including playoffs). This move creates $2.4 million in cap space but also leads to an approximate $1.5 million dead cap charge, per Nicholas McGee of AtoZ Sports Nashville.

49ers' Isaiah Oliver: Successful season as nickel CB
Oliver appeared in 17 regular-season games with San Francisco in 2023, finishing with 67 tackles (48 solo), two passes defended and one interception.
Oliver signed with the 49ers this past offseason to help fill the void left by nickel specialist K'Waun Williams' departure in 2022. It would be unfair to hold the former to the latter's standards, but Oliver certainly held his own while playing in every game for San Francisco. The six-year pro will resume covering opposing slot receivers for the 49ers in 2024.

His 10 tackles Sunday was the first time in Oliver's career that he has recorded double-digit tackles in a game since entering the league in 2018. He's established himself as the slot corner behind starters Deommodore Lenoir and Charvarius Ward, while Oliver has played at least 40 defensive snaps in each of the last three games.
