Rashad Fenton: Tries out for Texans
Houston hosted Fenton (undisclosed) for a tryout Friday, Howard Balzer of USA Today reports.
Fenton's last attempt at making an NFL roster was with the Cardinals in 2023, but he was placed on injured reserve during training camp with an unspecified injury. He last saw NFL regular-season action in 2022 with the Falcons and Chiefs, during which he logged 28 tackles (21 solo) and two pass defenses across seven regular-season games.

Cardinals' Rashad Fenton: Sent to IR
The Cardinals have placed Fenton (undisclosed) on injured reserve, Darren Urban of the team's official site reports.
Fenton signed a one-year contract with the Cardinals and was competing for a starting role at cornerback opposite Marco Wilson. Unfortunately, it now looks like Fenton's season has come to a premature end. It remains unclear what injury he is dealing with.

Cardinals' Rashad Fenton: Joins forces with Arizona
The Cardinals and Fenton agreed to a one-year contract Thursday, Darren Urban of the team's official site reports.
A sixth-round pick of the Chiefs in 2019, Fenton earned a Super Bowl ring as a rookie and spent the next two-plus seasons as a regular cornerback with K.C.'s defense. However, the team dealt him to the Falcons at the trade deadline last November, and he made just two appearances with his new squad, finishing with 28 tackles and two pass defenses in seven games. Upon joining the Cardinals, Fenton likely will compete with Antonio Hamilton for a starting spot opposite Marco Wilson (neck), barring further additions to the secondary.

Falcons' Rashad Fenton: Isn't listed on injury report
Fenton, who was dealing with a hamstring issue before being traded to the Falcons on Tuesday, isn't listed on Atlanta's injury report.
Before being traded to the Falcons on Tuesday, Fenton had missed each of his previous two contests with the Chiefs due to a hamstring injury. However, the 25-year-old wasn't listed on the Falcons' injury report Thursday, suggesting the issue is now likely a thing of the past. Fenton is expected to operate as the team's No. 3 cornerback for the remainder of the 2022-23 campaign behind A.J. Terrell (hamstring) and Darren Hall, but he could see a bump in snaps Sunday versus the Chargers if Terrell is unable to gain medical clearance before the weekend.

Falcons' Rashad Fenton: Dealt to Atlanta
The Chiefs traded Fenton (hamstring) to the Falcons on Tuesday, Field Yates of ESPN reports.
While Kansas City has thus far been impressed with both of its rookie cornerbacks Joshua Williams and Jaylen Watson, Fenton was no longer in a position to contribute to his full potential with the Chiefs. He'll now compete for Atlanta's No. 2 cornerback role with Darren Hall, behind starter A.J. Terrell, who's currently nursing a hamstring injury.

Chiefs' Rashad Fenton: Won't play at San Francisco
Coach Andy Reid said Friday that Fenton (hamstring) won't play in Sunday's game at the 49ers, Nate Taylor of The Athletic reports.
Fenton will miss his second consecutive game with a hamstring injury. Seventh-round rookie Jaylen Watson should continue to see increased opportunities opposite L'Jarius Sneed until Fenton is 100 percent.
