Vikings' Jarrid Williams: Brought in by Minnesota
Williams signed with the Vikings on Thursday, Kevin Seifert of ESPN.com reports.
Williams went undrafted in 2022 and spent the first few months of the NFL season on the Eagles' practice squad before being placed on that unit's injured reserve. The Miami product was subsequently let go by Philadelphia and has now reached an agreement with Minnesota. Expect the second-year lineman to compete for a depth role or a spot on the practice squad ahead of the coming season.

Jarrid Williams: Participates in Vikings workout
Minnesota worked out Williams on Tuesday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
Williams went undrafted in April and subsequently signed to Philadelphia's practice squad. He was placed on the Eagles' practice squad injured reserve list in October and was then cut in November, but he appears to have regained his health given his ability to work out Tuesday. The Vikings could be in need of offensive-line depth with Blake Brandel (knee) on IR for the remainder of the regular season after getting hurt in Week 14.

The Eagles cut Williams (undisclosed) from their practice squad injured list Tuesday.
Philadelphia placed Williams on the practice squad injured list back in mid-October due to an unspecified injury, but he was let go Tuesday and will now search elsewhere for more playing opportunities.

The Eagles placed Williams on the practice squad injured reserve list Saturday due to an unspecified injury.
As a result of the transaction, Williams won't be eligible for elevation to the Eagles' active roster for at least the team's next four games. The undrafted rookie offensive tackle out of Miami likely won't be in line for anything more than a depth role if he joins the Eagles at any point this season.
