    The 49ers waived Prince (heel) off injured reserve with an injury settlement Monday, Nick Wagoner of ESPN.com reports.

    Prince suffered a knee injury in San Francisco's final preseason contest and was subsequently placed on injured reserve. By reaching an injury settlement, he'll be able to play in 2025 if he gets healthy and lands with a new club.
