Giants' Curtis Grant: Placed on IR
Grant (knee) was officially placed on injured reserve by the Giants on Monday, Ralph Vacchiano of SportsNet New York reports.
Grant was carted off the field of last Thursday's loss to the Redskins with the knee injury. Kelvin Sheppard or the recently claimed Ray-Ray Armstrong should be in line for backup duties at strong-side linebacker going forward.

Giants' Curtis Grant: Season over
Grant (knee) will be sidelined for the remainder of the season.
Coach Bob McAdoo confirmed the news after Grant suffered a knee injury in Thursday's Thanksgiving loss to the Redskins. The 24-year-old will finish his season with 18 tackles (14 solo). Kelvin Sheppard will presumably see an increase in snaps providing depth at strongside linebacker in his absence.

Giants' Curtis Grant: Carted off field Thursday
Grant was carted off the field in Thursday's Thanksgiving game against the Redskins after suffering a right knee injury and won't return.
Grant went down in the latter portion of the first quarter. With the Giants already dealing with a plethora of injuries at linebacker heading into the Thanksgiving Day matchup, Kelvin Sheppard and Akeem Ayers should see hefty snaps the rest of the way.

Giants' Curtis Grant: Bumped up to 53-man roster
Grant was promoted to the active roster Monday, Michael Eisen of the team's official site reports.
The Giants needed to add some depth at linebacker for Monday's game which is why Grant was signed off the practice squad. It's unsure if he'll have any role on the defensive side of the ball, but either way his fantasy impact seems limited at best.
