  • Caushaud Lyons: Cut by Broncos

Lyons was let go by the Broncos on Monday, Zac Stevens of BSNDenver.com reports.

Lyons joined Denver's practice squad during the 2018 season and signed a reserve/future contract with the team. However, he'll now be released to make room for undrafted rookies. Since going undrafted himself in 2015, Lyons has bounced around the league and has yet to make a final roster.

  • Broncos' Caushaud Lyons: Signs with Denver

Lyons signed a contract with the Broncos on Friday, Nicki Jhabvala of The Athletic Denver reports.

Lyons has bounced around the NFL the past few years, but he's yet to succeed in making a final roster. He'll look to earn a role as a depth lineman and special teams player while in Denver.

  • Caushaud Lyons: Waived by Lions

Lyons was waived by the Lions on Saturday, WXYZ Detroit reports.

The Lions took a chance on Lyons by claiming him off waivers from the Rams a couple of weeks ago. It's possible Detroit management wants to take a longer look at him, so it wouldn't be a surprise if the team signed him to its practice squad should Lyons clear waivers.

  • Lions' Caushaud Lyons: Scooped up by Lions

The Lions were awarded Lyons off of waivers on Wednesday, Field Yates of ESPN reports.

Lyons was most recently waived by the Rams. His last, and only regular season action, came in 2015 for the Steelers. Albeit a long shot, the 24-year-old will look to impress for the remainder of camp in hopes of landing a depth role on the defensive line.
