Williams spent the entire 2019 campaign on IR due to an undisclosed injury, but he's now healthy. Assuming he goes unclaimed on waivers, Williams will work to earn a depth role with another organization.

Williams (undisclosed) reverted to injured reserve after clearing waivers Tuesday, per the official league transactions report.
Williams joined the Titans earlier this month and suffered an undisclosed injury after less than two weeks with the team. The 26-year-old linebacker will spend the remainder of the season on IR barring an injury settlement.

After cornerback Janoris Jenkins was handed an indefinite suspension earlier this week, the Giants will add Williams to fill the open roster spot. The defensive end impressed the Giants during training camp with his pass-rushing skills, but it's unlikely he'll have much of an opportunity to showcase his abilities if Olivier Vernon (ankle) is able to return to action Sunday against the Rams.
