Seahawks' Quenton Nelson: Ruled out after knee surgery
Nelson (knee) has been ruled out ahead of Sunday's game against the Cardinals, Gregg Bell of Sports Radio 93.3 KJR Seattle reports.
Nelson is set for knee surgery due to an issue the veteran offensive guard has been having with cartilage fragments. Ian Rapoport of NFL Network said Friday that the plan is for Nelson to avoid IR and return to the Seahawks after the team's Week 11 bye. Grey Zabel is set to start at left guard for Sunday's game.

Seahawks' Quenton Nelson: Misses practice Thursday
Nelson (knee) did not participate at the Seahawks' practice Thursday, John Boyle of the team's official site reports.
Nelson was listed as a limited participant at the team's walkthrough practice Wednesday, but he took a step backwards at the team's first official practice of the week. The offensive lineman made his Seattle debut in Monday night's loss to the Bears, and he appears to have picked up a knee injury in the contest. Nelson will have one more opportunity to return to practice before Sunday's contest against Arizona.
