Goedert caught six of eight targets for 61 yards during Sunday's 25-14 loss to the Panthers.
Goedert was able to reel in exactly six passes for the second straight week while his eight targets were second only to DeVonta Smith (14). With Jalen Hurts (calf) on injured reserve with a superficial blood clot, Tanner McKee took over at starting quarterback Sunday, logging 45 pass attempts in the defeat. If Philadelphia remains pass heavy moving forward, Goedert will stand to continue seeing plenty of looks.

Eagles' Dallas Goedert: Team-high six grabs in return
Goedert caught six of nine targets for 38 yards in Sunday's 19-17 loss to the Jaguars.
Back in the lineup after a two-game absence due to a knee injury, Goedert led the Eagles in targets and receptions, although the volume didn't lead to much yardage. With the Philly backfield and wide receiver room depleted by injuries, the veteran tight end could well remain Jalen Hurts' favorite option in the short term. Goedert will take an 11-119-2 line on 16 targets through three contests into a Week 6 clash with the Panthers.

Goedert maintained his activity level from Wednesday as he looks to put a sprained MCL in his right knee further in the rearview mirror. Friday's practice report will reveal his odds to return to action Sunday in Jacksonville, but if he's inhibited or sidelined again this weekend, Johnny Mundt, E.J. Goedert has missed the last two contests due to a sprained MCL in his right knee, but his return to drills this week puts game action back on the table for the ninth-year tight end. He likely will need to string together consecutive days of on-field work to give the Eagles peace of mind and clear him to play Sunday versus the Jaguars in London. Goedert (knee) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Rams.
With Goedert set to miss another game while recovering from the sprained MCL in his right knee and Devonta Smith set to miss with a hamstring injury, Philadelphia will need to lean heavily on Dontayvion Wicks and first-round rookie Makai Lemon to key the passing game.
