Sirles (foot) announced via his personal twitter account Monday that he has retired from the NFL.
The 28-year-old enjoyed a career that spanned across six years, seeing game action with the Chargers, Vikings and Bills. Sirles -- who was let go by Buffalo with an injury settlement last offseason -- started 20 games in his NFL career.

The offensive lineman was placed on IR by the Bills last week, but he's now free to sign with another team if he can get healthy. Sirles suited up for the Bills in 12 games last year -- including five starts -- and offers the flexibility to play different positions along the line as a depth guy in his next stop.

The Bills placed Sirles (foot) on injured reserve Tuesday, Jay Skurski of BuffaloNews.com reports.
Sirles suited up for the Bills in 12 games last year including five starts. His flexibility to play multiple positions was a plus for Buffalo, but a foot injury during spring practices that was aggravated last week has ultimately cost him the 2019 season.

Bills' Jeremiah Sirles: Inks contract extension
Sirles signed a one-year contract extension with the Bills on Wednesday, Sal Capaccio of WGR Sports Radio 550 Buffalo reports.
Sirles started five games in Buffalo in 2018, taking snaps at both guard and tackle before concluding the season as a reserve center. The 27-year-old's versatility will allow him to stick around in a backup role with Buffalo in 2019.
