Ronald Patrick: Waived with injury settlement
Patrick (knee) was waived with an injury settlement by the Redskins on Saturday, Master Tesfatsion of the Washington Post reports.
Patrick went down in the Reskins' preseason finale against the Buccaneers with a knee injury. Due to the settlement reached, he will now be free to sign with another team once his health allows it, as opposed to spending the entire 2017 season on Washington's injured reserve.

Redskins' Ronald Patrick: Heads off field with knee injury
Patrick left Thursday's preseason game with the Buccaneers after suffering a knee injury and will not return, Scott Smith of the Buccaneers' official site reports.
Ronald is fighting for a roster spot and has been practicing as the No. 3 center throughout preseason.
