Lucas has been declared out for the remainder of Saturday's preseason game against Philadelphia due to an ankle injury.
Lucas limped to the locker room in the first half and isn't going to be able to return to the game. The veteran offensive lineman signed with Cleveland during the offseason and is slated to serve in a rotational role at tackle during the 2025 campaign, provided the ankle injury doesn't prove to be serious.

The Browns agreed to terms with Lucas on a two-year, $10 million contract Monday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
Lucas turns 34 years old in July and has 129 games of experience, including 54 starts. He appeared in 14 regular-season contests for the Commanders last season, making seven starts. In Cleveland, Lucas will serve as experienced veteran depth behind tackles Dawand Jones and Jack Conklin.

Lucas is now set for a fifth season in Washington, where he's mostly served as a reserve offensive tackle. He started four of his 17 games with the team last season.
