49ers' Demarcus Robinson: Working with first-team offense
Robinson has been working with the first-team offense in training camp due to multiple injuries to the 49ers' wide receiver corps, Dan Graziano of ESPN.com reports.
Ricky Pearsall will miss the entire 2026 season due to a PCL injury that requires surgery. Mike Evans (quad) and Christian Kirk (calf) have also been sidelined for training camp practices, and rookie second-rounder De'Zhaun Stribling missed a couple of sessions while tending to a hamstring issue. That's given Robinson the opportunity to work with the first-team offense, and a strong showing in training camp and preseason games could earn him a consistent role for the upcoming season. The veteran wideout is coming off a disappointing 2025 campaign, though he played a key role in the 49ers' NFC wild-card win over the Eagles in January, when he caught six catches (on seven targets) for 111 yards and a touchdown.

49ers' Demarcus Robinson: Sour end to underwhelming season
Robinson brought in his only target for one yard in Saturday's 41-6 divisional-round loss to the Seahawks.
Robinson was riding high from his best performance as a member of the 49ers in the wild-card round (6-111-1 versus the Eagles), but he came crashing back down to earth after gaining just one yard on his only touch against Seattle. The veteran wideout got off to a slow start with his new club after serving a three-game suspension to begin the year, and he would go on to post an underwhelming 22-276-1 receiving line across 14 games in the regular season. The 49ers were extremely thin at wide receiver in 2025, making Robinson's lack of involvement frustrating from a fantasy standpoint. The 32-year-old will be back with San Francisco next season for the final year of his two-year contract, likely serving as a depth piece for a retooled receiver room.

49ers' Demarcus Robinson: Leading receiver in WC win
Robinson corralled six of seven targets for 111 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 23-19 wild-card win over Philadelphia.
Robinson finally broke out of his season-long slump at the perfect time for the 49ers after he led the team in receiving in its playoff win Sunday. The veteran wideout was filling in for injured starter Ricky Pearsall (ankle/knee), who was inactive for the ninth time this season. Robinson failed to surpass 50 receiving yards in any of his 14 appearances in the regular season, so Sunday's outburst against the Eagles certainly came out of nowhere. Perhaps this performance will build up the confidence QB Brock Purdy has in Robinson, but fantasy players should not bank on a repeat performance against the Seahawks in the divisional round.

49ers' Demarcus Robinson: Draws start in Week 18
Robinson had three receptions on four targets for 24 yards in Saturday's 13-3 loss to the Seahawks.
Robinson earned a rare start filling in for Ricky Pearsall (knee/ankle) and received the most playing time (88 percent) in a game this season. The 30-year-old Robinson couldn't parlay the larger role into notable fantasy production after finishing the loss with a pedestrian stat line. Pearsall's status for the wild-card round of the playoffs is still in question, but Robinson's minimal involvement on offense limits his fantasy upside even in games he is asked to start.

49ers' Demarcus Robinson: Grabs two receptions Sunday
Robinson caught both of his targets for 30 yards in Sunday's 42-38 win over the Bears.
Robinson was unable to replicate last week's rare trip to the end zone, instead reverting to his usual minor role in the passing game. Even absences from tight end George Kittle (ankle) in Week 17 and wideout Ricky Pearsall in Week 16 didn't lead to more opportunities for Robinson. The 30-year-old has at least provided a consistent floor in recent weeks, finishing each of his last three contests with exactly two targets and two receptions.
