  • Seahawks' Cooper Kupp: Quiet in return to Los Angeles

Kupp secured just three of seven targets for 23 yards in the Seahawks' 21-19 loss to the Rams on Sunday. Making his return to Los Angeles after he was released by the Rams during the offseason, Kupp was a fixture in two-wide sets alongside Jaxon Smith-Njigba, but Kupp's quiet season continued, as his 23 yards were fifth-most on the team despite being third on Seattle in targets. The 32-year-old has yet to hit 100 yards in a game this season and has just 29 catches for 390 yards and one touchdown on 42 targets through nine games. Even in a plus matchup next Sunday against the Titans, Kupp won't be a recommended fantasy starter.

  • Seahawks' Cooper Kupp: Gains 74 yards in blowout win

Kupp (hamstring) finished with two receptions on as many targets for 74 yards in Sunday's 44-22 win over the Cardinals. Kupp showed no ill effects from the hamstring injury that had his status for Sunday in question, as he scampered for 67 yards on one of his two catches. The veteran receiver is averaging just two targets over the Seahawks' last three contests, putting a hard cap on his fantasy value despite recording solid production on low usage. The addition of WR Rashid Shaheed at the trade deadline could eventually cut into Kupp's role further as the season progresses. That said, Kupp's hot play of late combined with the potential to produce against his former club keeps him in the fantasy conversation against the Rams next Sunday.

  • Seahawks' Cooper Kupp: Available in Week 10

Kupp (hamstring) is listed as active Sunday versus the Cardinals. Kupp sat out the Seahawks' Week 9 win at Washington due to hamstring and heel injuries. He then didn't take part in Wednesday's walkthrough before being limited at Thursday's practice and full in Friday's session. A questionable designation ensued for Week 10 action, and dueling reports Saturday evening were positive (via Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.com) and more uncertain (per Ian Rapoport of NFL Network) for Kupp's ability to play Sunday. Now that Kupp's status has been clarified, he'll be among Seattle's available wide receivers behind No. 1 Jaxon Smith-Njigba along with newcomer Rashid Shaheed, Cody White and the elevated Ricky White with Tory Horton (groin/shin) and Jake Bobo (calf) inactive and Dareke Young (quadriceps) on injured reserve.

  • Seahawks' Cooper Kupp: Status 'still up in air' for Week 10

Kupp (hamstring/heel), who remains listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Cardinals, has improved odds of playing this week compared to Week 9, but his status for the contest is "still up in the air," Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports. Rapoport report casts a less optimistic tone of Kupp's Week 10 availability than the report issued about an hour earlier by Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.com, who relayed that the veteran receiver was expected to play through the two injuries that kept him sidelined for last week's win over the Commanders. Kupp's ability to take part in the Seahawks' final practice of the week Friday is generally a good indication that he'll be able to play Sunday, but those planning on including him in fantasy lineups will want to verify his status when Seattle releases its inactive list 90 minutes prior to the 4:05 p.m. ET kickoff. If he suits up Sunday, Kupp could end up ranking as a tertiary target in the passing game behind No. 1 option Jaxon Smith-Njigba and new arrival Rashid Shaheed, whom the Seahawks acquired Tuesday in exchange for 2026 fourth- and fifth-round draft picks.

  • Seahawks' Cooper Kupp: Expected to play Week 10

Kupp (hamstring/heel) remains listed as questionable but is expected to play Sunday against the Cardinals, Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.com reports. Kupp sat out the Seahawks' Week 9 win over the Commanders, but he appears to be trending toward a return after concluding Week 10 prep Friday with a full practice. With fellow wideouts Tory Horton (groin) listed as doubtful and Jake Bobo (calf) ruled out, Kupp should have a regular role in three-receiver sets alongside Jaxon Smith-Njigba and newcomer Rashid Shaheed. Kupp has yet to hit 100 yards in a game this season and is averaging a career-low 41.9 receiving yards per contest through seven appearances.

  • Seahawks' Cooper Kupp: Looking good after full practice

Kupp (hamstring/heel) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against Arizona, but he appears on track to play after upgrading to full practice participation Friday, Brady Henderson of ESPN.com reports. Kupp missed a Week 9 rout of the Commanders after injuring his hamstring last Thursday, but it seems he was correct when he downplayed the severity, as he's now looking good to play just 10 days after the initial injury. Seattle's wideout depth is depleted, including No. 3 receiver Tory Horton (shin) being listed as doubtful, which means Kupp could get plenty of snaps even with the addition of Rashid Shaheed.

  • Seahawks' Cooper Kupp: Back as limited participant

Kupp (hamstring/heel) practiced in a limited fashion Thursday, John Boyle of the Seahawks' official site reports. Kupp thus logged his first on-field work in exactly one week, potentially putting him on a path to miss just one game as a result of hamstring and heel injuries. Meanwhile, all of Tory Horton (groin/shin), Jake Bobo (calf) and Dareke Young (quadriceps) didn't practice Thursday, leaving the Seahawks with just two healthy wide receivers in Jaxon Smith-Njigba and newcomer Rashid Shaheed. Friday's practice report will reveal who among the quartet will have a chance to be available alongside Smith-Njigba and Shaheed this Sunday against the Cardinals.

  • Seahawks' Cooper Kupp: No practice Wednesday

Kupp (hamstring/heel) was a non-participant at Wednesday's walkthrough, John Boyle of the Seahawks' official site reports. Coach Mike Macdonald told Michael-Shawn Dugar of The Athletic earlier Wednesday that Kupp would be limited to begin Week 10 prep, but instead he didn't log any work. Kupp now has been listed as DNP on back-to-back injury reports dating back to last week as he tends to hamstring and heel issues, but he'll have two more chances to practice this week before the Seahawks potentially make a ruling on his status for Sunday's game against the Cardinals. Since Kupp was sidelined this past Sunday in Washington, Tory Horton stepped up behind No. 1 WR Jaxon Smith-Njigba and notched four catches (on four targets) for 48 yards and two touchdowns, and Seattle then acquired Rashid Shaheed from the Saints before Tuesday's trade deadline, so the pecking order at the position seemingly will be different once Kupp is healthy enough to play.

  • Seahawks' Cooper Kupp: Likely to sit out Week 9

Kupp (heel/hamstring), who is officially questionable to play Sunday versus Washington, is not expected to play, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports. Coming out of a Week 8 bye, Kupp first appeared on the injury report Wednesday due to a heel injury, and he was then listed with an additional hamstring issue Thursday. After not practicing Friday, he entered the weekend deemed questionable, and he looks to be trending toward missing his first game of the season. With Kupp on track to sit out, rookie Tory Horton will likely move into the No. 2 wideout role behind Jaxon Smith-Njigba for Seattle. With depth wideouts Jake Bobo (Achilles) and Dareke Young (quadriceps) already ruled out, the Seahawks elevated Cody White and Ricky White from their practice squad to round out the position group.

  • Seahawks' Cooper Kupp: Tending to hamstring injury

Kupp (heel/hamstring) was a limited practice participant Thursday, John Boyle of the Seahawks' official site reports. One day removed from being listed as full with just a heel injury Wednesday, Kupp experienced a downgrade in activity level as a hamstring issue was added to Seattle's practice report. His status thus is worth monitoring as the week goes on to get a sense of his availability for Sunday's game at Washington. With Jake Bobo (Achilles) limited Thursday and Dareke Young (quadriceps) unable to practice so far this week, Jaxon Smith-Njigba and Tory Horton are the only healthy wide receivers on the Seahawks' active roster at the moment.

  • Seahawks' Cooper Kupp: Solid PPR effort Sunday

Kupp corralled six of nine targets for 59 yards in Sunday's 38-35 loss to the Buccaneers. Kupp produced his second-best receiving line as a member of the Seahawks while finishing in a tie with Jaxon Smith-Njigba for the team lead in targets (nine) Sunday. The 32-year-old Kupp was held out of the end zone for the fifth time in as many games this season, resulting in a useful PPR score and not much else. The former Los Angeles Ram has carved out a decent role as the Seahawks' No. 2 receiver, but he lacks the upside that once made him a must-start option in fantasy. Kupp's upside is capped as a flex option for a Week 6 matchup against the Jaguars.

  • Seahawks' Cooper Kupp: Four catches in Week 4 win

Kupp brought in four of five targets for 26 yards in the Seahawks' 23-20 win over the Cardinals on Thursday night. Kupp tied Jaxon Smith-Njigba for the team lead in receptions and targets on a night when Sam Darnold spread the ball around to eight different pass catchers overall. However, the veteran wideout averaged just 6.5 yards per catch, but the fact he remains a clear No. 2 option in what is a mostly concentrated air attack will continue to afford Kupp a degree of fantasy value, especially in PPR formats. The veteran wideout will now have some extra time to gear up for a Week 5 home matchup against the Buccaneers on Sunday, Oct. 5.

  • Seahawks' Cooper Kupp: Just two grabs Sunday

Kupp had two receptions on three targets for 31 yards in Sunday's 44-13 win over New Orleans. Kupp reverted to his low-usage role after commanding nine targets in a Week 2 win over Las Vegas. The veteran wideout finished third in targets, receptions and yardage for the Seahawks behind Jaxon Smith-Njigba (5-96-1) and Tory Horton (3-32-1). Perhaps Kupp can get more involved in Week 4 against a familiar NFC West opponent in the Cardinals on Thursday Night Football.

  • Seahawks' Cooper Kupp: Seven catches in Week 2 surge

Kupp caught seven of nine targets for 90 yards in Sunday's 31-17 win over the Steelers. Kupp bounced back from a two-catch Seahawks debut but once again finished second on the team in receiving yards behind Jaxon Smith-Njigba. Kupp and JSN combined for 19 targets while no other teammate had more than four, but Sam Darnold's first two touchdown passes of the season went to Tory Horton and AJ Barner. Up next for Seattle's new-look passing game is a Week 3 home game against the Saints.

  • Seahawks' Cooper Kupp: Finds new home in Pacific Northwest

The Seahawks and Kupp agreed to terms of a contract Friday, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports. Per Adam Schefter of ESPN, it's a three-year deal for Kupp, who spent the first eight seasons of his career with the Rams. Kupp will join a receiving corps that moved on from DK Metcalf (traded to the Steelers) and Tyler Lockett (released) this offseason, meaning he'll be working with third-year pro Jaxon Smith-Njigba and veteran vertical threat Marquez Valdes-Scantling in an offense led by new QB Sam Darnold. Since his standout 145-1,947-16 performance on 191 targets in 2021, Kupp hasn't surpassed 75 catches, 812 yards or six touchdowns in any of the ensuing three campaigns while missing 18 regular-season contests during that span.

  • Cooper Kupp: Talking with Cowboys

The Cowboys are pushing to sign Kupp, would may decide on his next team as soon as Friday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports. The Rams released Kupp on Wednesday, with subsequent reports suggesting numerous teams are interested in signing him. That's no surprise, considering he mostly remained productive when he wasn't injured last year and now becomes arguably the top WR in an extremely weak free-agent class. On the other hand, he'll turn 32 this summer, missed at least five games each of the past three seasons, and finished 2024 with career lows of 10.6 yards per catch and 7.1 yards per target. There's also the matter of his best fit being the slot, where CeeDee Lamb has done a large portion of his damage in recent years. Granted, that's a better problem than the Cowboys' current problem of not having enough talent alongside Lamb.

  • Rams' Cooper Kupp: Plans to continue playing career

Kupp said Monday that he plans to continue his playing career next season but admitted he's not sure if it will be with the Rams, Sarah Barshop of ESPN.com reports. "I feel like I've got a lot of good football left in me," Kupp said. "I'll be playing football next year. That much I know. ... I don't have any clarity on what that's going to look like or anything like that. So yeah, obviously would love to be in L.A., but I don't know what that's going to look like." Kupp turns 32 years old in June and is coming off a slow finish to the 2024 season, as he ceded the clear WR1 role to Puka Nacua. Kupp is under contract through 2026, but the Rams could opt to cut him before a $5 million roster bonus is due in March. Designating Kupp as a post-June 1 cut would clear $15 million in cap space and leave behind $14.78 million in dead money. If he's not designated as a post-June 1 cut, the Rams would eat $22.26 million in dead cap hit, clearing just $7.52 million. In pure cash terms, releasing Kupp saves Los Angeles $15 million. If the Rams opt to move on from Kupp, Jordan Whittington makes for a natural in-house replacement out of the slot.

  • Rams' Cooper Kupp: Five catches in playoff defeat

Kupp caught five of seven targets for 61 yards in Sunday's 28-22 NFC divisional-round loss to the Eagles. Kupp's 30-yard catch in the third quarter exceeded his receiving yardage total from each of the previous four games, but his season-ending touchdown drought reached five games as the Rams were knocked out of the playoffs. There is a potential out in Kupp's contract prior to the 2025 season, and the Rams will have to consider using it rather than bringing the veteran wide receiver back for his age-32 season at a $29.78 million cap hit given Kupp's poor finish to the campaign. Kupp caught 67 of 100 targets for 710 yards and six touchdowns in 12 regular-season appearances but added only six catches for 90 yards in two playoff games.

  • Rams' Cooper Kupp: Makes lone catch count

Kupp caught his lone target for 29 yards during the Rams' 27-9 wild-card victory over the Vikings on Monday night. The veteran wideout saw his playing time reduced significantly in the Rams' playoff opener, taking the field for just 29 out of 53 snaps on offense. Kupp's only catch of the contest came in the third quarter, converting a third-and-long to set up a Joshua Karty 44-yard field goal. While Kupp's quiet performance may be concerning, it came on a night in which Tyler Higbee (chest) led the team with 58 yards receiving on just 12 snaps, so the Rams' passing attack as a whole was fairly muted. Kupp will have a chance to bounce back in the divisional round against the Eagles.

  • Rams' Cooper Kupp: Late-season slump continues

Kupp caught three of four targets for 24 yards in Sunday's 19-9 win over the Jets. Kupp has faded at the worst possible time for fantasy managers, with just 24 yards on seven targets in Weeks 15 and 16 combined. Puka Nacua has 153 receiving yards on 17 targets over that span, so Nacua has pulled away from Kupp as the clear No. 1 option in the passing game. Kupp and the Rams will be back in Los Angeles for a Week 17 home game against the Cardinals, which should help the entire passing offense get back on track after struggling in the cold confines of MetLife Stadium.
