Ed Eagan: Released by Giants
Eagan was waived Tuesday by the Giants, Dan Duggan of NJ.com reports.
Eagan signed with the Giants a little over a month ago after he was waived prior to the start of the regular season. The move comes following New York promoting wideout Kalif Raymond from its practice squad Tuesday, which could mean Eagan will ultimately take Raymond's spot on the JV. Eagan logged just one target but no catches in his short stint with the Giants.

Giants' Ed Eagan: Re-signs with Giants
Eagan signed a contract with the Giants on Tuesday, Art Stapleton of The Bergen Record reports.
Eagan is the third receiver to sign with the Giants in less than two days, with his addition corresponding with three of the team's top five wideouts (Odell Beckham, Brandon Marshall and Dwayne Harris) landing on injured reserve with season-ending injuries. Beyond Sterling Shepard -- who may be at risk of missing Sunday's game against the Broncos with an injury of his own -- the Giants' entire wideout corps is almost entirely unproven, so Eagan should have as good of an opportunity as the rest of the lot to establish himself as a dependable target for quarterback Eli Manning. Until Eagan, who was cut by the Giants in training camp, translates any offensive snaps he receives into meaningful production, he won't warrant much more than a speculative pickup in very deep fantasy formats.

Eagan was waived by the Giants on Saturday.
Eagan had one catch for 19 yards this preseason, so it's not a surprise that he couldn't crack the receiver corps for the Giants. He spent last season on the Bills' practice squad, and expect him to be relegated to the same duties in 2017.

Eagan signed with the Giants on Friday, Art Stapleton of The Record reports.
Eagan was signed Friday morning along with Canaan Severin to replace the newly-waived Keeon Johnson and Kevin Snead. Eagan is yet to appear in a regular season game since being signed as an undrafted free agent by the Cowboys in 2016.

Ed Eagan: Signed to Bills active roster
Eagan was promoted Tuesday from the Bills' practice squad to the 53-man roster, ESPN's Mike Rodak reports.
Devastated by injuries in the wideout corps, Buffalo needs some depth ahead of Sunday's matchup with the Patriots. Eagan won't necessarily have a role or be active on gameday, but he's at least around as an emergency option. The team still hopes Robert Woods (foot) and Marquise Goodwin (concussion) will be available.
