The 31-year-old underwent an MRI earlier in the week on his ankle, which appears to be the main issue affecting him. Additionally, Bowles told reporters that Reddick's knee "will be OK" despite some lingering soreness. The Buccaneers have a Week 9 bye, which should allow Reddick to get some much-needed rest. Saleh said if Reddick shows up to play Week 1, the team could still opt for him to suit up, if he's deemed to be in game shape after having missed all of training camp. The veteran pass-rusher has already accumulated $2.05 million in fines for missing training camp, per Zack Rosenblatt of The Athletic, in addition to penalties for missing mandatory minicamp and forfeiting his workout bonus. If Reddick's holdout continues into the regular season, however, he'll be subjected to massive fines of $791,666 per missed game.
