Tomlinson (hamstring) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Seahawks.
A hamstring injury will cause Tomlinson to miss two consecutive games. The next time he can play is Week 5 against the Broncos, though he would need to log at least a limited practice to have a realistic chance of playing against Denver. Tomlinson and the Chargers agreed to terms on a one-year, $7.5 million deal Friday, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
The 32-year-old defensive lineman from Alabama was dropped by the Cardinals on Mar. 6 but has since found a new home in Los Angeles. Tomlinson appeared in 17 games last season, recording 26 total tackles, including 1.0 sacks, and one pass defensed. Now with the Chargers, he's expected to operate as one of the team's top interior defensive linemen during the 2026 season.

Dalvin Tomlinson: Cut loose by Arizona
The Cardinals released Tomlinson on Friday, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
Tomlinson and the Cardinals agreed to a two-year, $29 million contract in March of 2025, but the 2017 second-rounder will end up playing just one season in Arizona. He finished the 2025 regular season with 26 tackles (13 solo), including 1.0 sacks, and one pass defense over 17 games. Tomlinson should attract interest from teams looking to add a veteran defensive lineman to the roster.
