Cowboys' Jonathan Bullard: Lands with Dallas
Bullard signed a one-year deal worth a maximum of $2.5 million with the Cowboys on Saturday, Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reports.
Bullard spent the 2025 season in New Orleans while serving in a rotational role along the defensive line. He logged only 325 defensive snaps -- his lowest since 2022 -- and he may play in a similarly limited fashion in 2026, given the Cowboys' investment in their defensive line in the last two offseasons.

Saints' Jonathan Bullard: Signs with New Orleans
Bullard agreed to a deal with the Saints on Saturday, Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reports.
The defensive end originally visited the team in June and previously played for Saints defensive coordinator Brandon Staley in Chicago, per Garafolo. With the Vikings last year, Bullard started all 17 regular-season games for the first time in his career, recording 41 tackles (21 solo), including 1.0 sacks, and three pass breakups. The veteran should have a chance to compete for a role in New Orleans as well.

Vikings' Jonathan Bullard: Starts all 17 games for first time
Bullard finished the 2024 season with 41 tackles (21 solo), including 1.0 sacks, and three pass breakups across 17 regular-season contests.
The 31-year-old defensive tackle started all 17 games for the first time in his career and has developed into a quality defensive lineman in his three years with Minnesota after bouncing around the league with four different teams in his first six seasons. Bullard is scheduled to become a free agent again in March after playing one a one-year, $2.25 million deal in 2024.

Vikings' Jonathan Bullard: Returning to Vikings
Bullard has agreed to terms on a one-year contract with the Vikings, Dane Mizutani of the St. Paul Pioneer Press reports.
Bullard will remain in Minnesota after posting 44 tackles, including 2.0 sacks, in 2023. Both marks were career highs for the 30-year-old Bullard. He'll likely reprise his role as a rotational piece along the defensive line in 2024 after appearing in 29 games (21 starts) for the Vikings over the past two seasons.

Vikings' Jonathan Bullard: Role increases in 2023
Bullard logged 44 total tackles, including 2.0 sacks, while also forcing one fumble in 17 games during the 2023 regular season.
The eighth-year pro defensive end started 14 of the Vikings' 17 games, doubling his previous high for most starts in a season. Thanks to the increased opportunities, Bullard set a new career high in tackles but recorded only nine QB pressures in 325 pass rush snaps, according to Pro Football Focus. The 30-year-old is an unrestricted free agent this offseason and will likely be a rotational defensive lineman wherever he lands in 2024.

Vikings' Jonathan Bullard: Could play Week 16
Bullard (ankle) is listed as questionable ahead of Sunday's game against the Lions.
The 30-year-old defensive end is dealing with an ankle issue that held him to limited practice sessions throughout the week, but he still has a shot at suiting up Sunday. Bullard has yet to miss a game this season, but if he misses Week 16's affair, Sheldon Day (ankle) could see increased work on the Vikings' defensive line.
