Steven Daniels: Waived by Eagles
Daniels was waived by the Eagles on Saturday.

Eagles' Steven Daniels: Returns to Philadelphia
Daniels signed a three-year contract with the Eagles on Wednesday.
A 2016 sixth-round pick out of Boston College, Daniels spent nearly a month with the Eagles earlier this year before eventually getting the ax in early June. Now back with the team, he appears set to compete with Kamu Grugier-Hill and Najee Goode for a depth linebacker role, but Daniels will likely need to stand out on special teams in order to make the final 53-man roster.

Steven Daniels: Waived by Eagles
Daniels (shoulder) was waived by the Eagles on Thursday, Les Bowen of The Philadelphia Daily News reports.
Daniels was picked up by Philadelphia just over a month ago but appears to have been unable to earn a spot on the roster entering training camp. He missed his rookie season last year due to a torn labrum, and he'll look to catch on with another team in 2017.

Eagles' Steven Daniels: Claimed off waivers by Philadelphia
The Eagles claimed Daniels (shoulder) off waivers Wednesday.
Daniels suffered a torn labrum during training camp last summer after joining the Redskins as a seventh-round pick in the 2016 NFL Draft, sidelining him for the entire season. The Redskins opted to let him go earlier this week, but the Eagles see enough potential in Daniels and will give him a look during the offseason. Daniels isn't guaranteed a spot on the 53-man roster, so he'll need to have a strong camp in order to impress the staff.

Steven Daniels: Waived by Redskins
Daniels (shoulder) was waived by Washington on Tuesday, the team's official site reports.
A seventh-round pick in the 2016 NFL Draft, Daniels spent his entire rookie season on injured reserve after suffering a torn labrum during the first week of training camp. In this unfortunate situation, the 24-year-old will now look to find his way onto another roster in time for training camp, but only if he can prove his injury is a thing of the past.

Redskins' Steven Daniels: Seventh-round pick
The Redskins selected Daniels in the seventh round of the 2016 NFL Draft, 232nd overall.
Daniels is a thumper prospect who generally doesn't have the look of much more than a special teams player in the NFL. Undersized and short on athleticism, asking a three-down role of him seems like a lot.
