Toner was brought in for a workout with Buffalo on Monday, Howard Balzer of SI.com reports.
Toner started one game with Houston last season before ending the 2021 campaign on injured reserve with an undisclosed injury. The 28-year-old played a career-high 10 games with three starts for the Chargers in 2020.
