Jon Feliciano: Calls it a career
Feliciano (knee) announced Thursday via his personal social media that he is retiring from the NFL.
Feliciano says he "realized I had to leave the game" in his statement due to the fact that the knee injury that kept him out the entire 2024 campaign would prohibit him from suiting up for a full season in the future. The veteran guard did, however, state that he'd be open to returning for a playoff run in the future with either the 49ers or Bills, both teams he's previously played for. Since joining the league in 2015, Feliciano also has seen action with the Raiders and Giants.

Feliciano (knee) will remain on injured reserve for the remainder of the season, Matt Barrows of The Athletic reports.
The veteran offensive lineman has yet to play this season after he underwent a knee surgery in training camp that landed him on IR. Feliciano's 21-day practice window opened in early November, but his knee hasn't responded the right way and he's now set to miss all of 2024.

49ers' Jon Feliciano: Won't play vs. Bucs
Feliciano (knee) has been downgraded to out for Sunday's game against Tampa Bay, Eric Branch of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.
Feliciano began the regular season on injured reserve after undergoing knee surgery during training camp. His 21-day practice window to return from IR opened Monday, and he was a limited practice participant all week. That won't be enough for him to return Sunday, but his next chance to suit up will be Week 11 against the Seahawks on Sunday, Nov. 17.

49ers' Jon Feliciano: Designated to return
The 49ers opened Feliciano's (knee) 21-day practice window Monday.
The veteran offensive lineman has missed the 49ers' first eight games this season after picking up a knee injury in early August that landed him on injured reserve. However, the opening of Feliciano's practice window Monday suggests that he's almost moved past the issue. His practice participation throughout the week will be the best indicator of whether he can return for San Francisco's Week 10 matchup against the Buccaneers.
