Kyle Van Noy: Wants to play in 2026
Van Noy said Tuesday that he does not plan to retire before the 2026 season, Kevin Patra of NFL.com reports.
Van Noy, now 35 years old, was far less productive for Baltimore in 2025 (20 tackles, 2.0 sacks) than he was in the 2024 regular season (41 tackles, 12.5 sacks). However, even after his 13th year in the league, he's still expressing a desire to suit up for the upcoming campaign. Since his contract with the Ravens expired after last year, he's an unrestricted free agent, but it is yet to be seen if another club will be willing to take a chance on the veteran edge rusher.

Ravens' Kyle Van Noy: Minimal impact this season
Van Noy recorded 20 total tackles (12 solo) including 2.0 sacks, and four passes defensed including one interception, across 15 games in 2025.
The 34-year-old edge rusher logged just 488 defensive snaps, and his 2.0 sacks marked his lowest output since 2016 with the Patriots. Van Noy struggled to get after the quarterback but contributed in coverage, recording the sixth-most passes defensed on the Ravens. Set to become an unrestricted free agent this offseason, the veteran defender could draw interest from teams in need of pass-rush depth in 2026.

Van Noy (quadriceps) doesn't have an injury designation ahead of Sunday night's game against the Steelers.
Van Noy was able to upgrade to a full participant in Friday's practice after missing consecutive practices earlier in the week. The veteran linebacker's ability to suit up for Sunday night's contest means the Ravens will have him available as they attempt to take the AFC North title in the last game of the 2025 regular season. The linebacker participated in 43 percent of defensive snaps in the 24-0 Week 15 shutout of the Bengals, logging one solo tackle and one interception in the team's defensive masterclass.
