Jaguars' Tyler Eifert: Free agency likely
The Jaguars are expected to decline the team option for Eifert's contract in 2021, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
Eifert was expected to earn slightly below $5 million in 2021, but now it looks like he will be entering free agency. He recorded 349 yards and two touchdowns across 15 games for Jacksonville in 2020. It was the 30-year-old's only season with the Jags after spending his first seven years in Cincinatti.

Jaguars' Tyler Eifert: One reception in finale
Eifert caught one of two targets for 10 yards during Sunday's 28-14 loss to Indianapolis.
It was a quiet finish to an underwhelming season for the 30-year-old, and he totaled 36 catches for 349 yards and two touchdowns in 15 games. The fact Eifert missed only one game is good news given his injury history, but it didn't lead to much production with the Jags. He could return to Jacksonville if the team exercises his $5 million club option for 2021, but the new front office and coaching staff may decide to go in a different direction.

Jaguars' Tyler Eifert: Two catches Sunday
Eifert caught two of five targets for 17 yards during Sunday's 41-17 loss to the Bears.
The 30-year-old tied for second on the team in targets, but he was unable to turn that production into anything worthwhile. There's simply no week-to-week consistency in Eifert's production, and he hasn't eclipsed 30 receiving yards in back-to-back games this season.
