Bears' Dan Skuta: Suffers concussion in preseason game
Skuta suffered a concussion during the Bear's preseason contest with the Titans on Sunday, Brad Biggs of the Chicago Tribune reports.
Skuta will have to clear the league's concussion protocol before he can get back to action. As it stands now, Skuta figures to function as a special teamer this year, and whether the concussion will derail his projected outlook remains to be seen.

Dan Skuta: Released by Jaguars
Skuta was released by the Jaguars on Tuesday, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
Skuta spent the past two seasons in Jacksonville but dealt with a string of injuries last year that limited his productivity, as he only managed to record 18 tackles and one pass deflection through 13 games in 2016. The drop-off in performance was enough for the Jaguars to sever ties with the once-starting outside linebacker, who was slated to make $12.3 million over the next three seasons.
