Five Bengals standouts are either certain or near-certain to be sidelined Thursday against Cleveland with out or doubtful designations. Linebacker Vontaze Burfict (knee) and cornerback Leon Hall (concussion) are both out while running back Giovani Bernard (hip/clavicle), linebacker Rey Maualuga (hamstring) and offensive lineman Andre Smith (ankle) are doubtful.
Defensive end Robert Geathers (shoulder) is questionable while cornerback Darqueze Dennard (hamstring), tight end Jermaine Gresham (knee), cornerback Terence Newman (chest) and guard Kevin Zeitler (calf) are probable.
