Bucks' Brayden Burries: Strong performance off bench
Rotowire
Burries recorded 14 points (6-11 FG, 0-4 3Pt, 2-3 FT), seven rebounds, three assists and two steals in 26 minutes during Friday's 128-127 preseason win over Indiana.
Fresh off a 19-point performance against the Bulls, Burries turned in another encouraging performance, despite continuing to struggle from the perimeter. He has now gone 1-of-11 from the three-point line over his past two games, which could simply be a sign of nerves. With that said, he has been more than adequate on the defensive end, tallying six steals in that same span. While he isn't a must-roster player in standard leagues, he is certainly someone to monitor closely, especially if Milwaukee struggles out of the gate.

Bucks' Brayden Burries: Tallies 19 points in preseason loss
Rotowire
Burries supplied 19 points (5-12 FG, 1-6 3Pt, 8-8 FT), five rebounds, five assists and four steals over 29 minutes in Wednesday's 125-104 preseason loss to Chicago.
Burries saw a sizable workload in a starting role and made his presence felt in multiple facets. The rookie struggled from beyond the arc but made up for it with a strong showing at the free-throw line en route to 19 points while also recording a game-high four steals. Tyler Herro (rest) is the clear starter at shooting guard, but Burries figures to see plenty of action during the 2026-27 campaign, even if it's off the bench.

Bucks' Brayden Burries: Sparks late comeback victory
Rotowire
Burries registered 16 points (5-13 FG, 0-4 3Pt, 6-8 FT), five rebounds, an assist and two steals across 21 minutes off the bench in Wednesday's 128-126 preseason win over the Thunder.
Burries played a pivotal role in Milwaukee's fourth-quarter comeback with several clutch plays in the second half. As good as he looked in this preseason win, however, the rookie guard looks set to open the 2026-27 regular season in a bench role since Ryan Rollins and Tyler Herro are expected to start in the backcourt, and Kevin Porter should also be ahead of him on the depth chart. Still, Burries has shown encouraging scoring instincts through two preseason appearances, and if he translates that into the regular season, he should be a player worth keeping close tabs on in most formats outside of dynasty leagues.

Bucks' Brayden Burries: Hands out team-high five assists
Rotowire
Burries recorded seven points (3-10 FG, 1-3 3Pt), two rebounds, five assists and two steals across 16 minutes in Monday's 116-97 preseason loss to the Timberwolves.
The rookie guard made his first appearance at the professional level in Monday's preseason opener. After going 10th overall in the 2026 NBA Draft, Burries should play an immediate role for the rebuilding Bucks but appears to be just a late-round flier for fantasy purposes in deep leagues this fall.

Bucks' Brayden Burries: Taken by MIL at No. 10
Rotowire
Burries was selected by the Bucks with the No. 10 overall pick in the 2026 NBA Draft.
Burries brings a polished, physical scoring profile to Milwaukee after a highly productive freshman season at Arizona. The 19-year-old wing established himself as one of the most reliable perimeter creators in the country, utilizing his robust 6-foot-4 frame to bully smaller guards, absorb contact on drives, and consistently get to his spots in the mid-range. A bucket-getter at every level, Burries paced the one-seeded Wildcats' offense while flashing the lateral strength necessary to defend multiple positions on the other end of the floor. He lands in a fascinating, reshaped situation in Milwaukee following the franchise's blockbuster trade that sent Giannis Antetokounmpo to Miami in exchange for Tyler Herro, Jaime Jaquez and more. Because the Bucks also feature a rising breakout guard in Ryan Rollins, who locked down a significant backcourt role this past season, Burries may find a bit of a logjam on the perimeter to start his career. While he might not see massive run right out of the gate behind Herro, Jaquez and Rollins, Burries' high basketball IQ and steady shot creation give the rebuilding Bucks an excellent piece for their new-look young core.
