Smith agreed to a training-camp contract with the Warriors on Tuesday, Paul Garcia of The Spot Up Shot reports.
Smith, who posted 21 points and nine rebounds off the bench in the Warriors' Summer League title game win over the Grizzlies, is set to compete for a spot on the team's regular-season roster. The 24-year-old appeared in 29 G League games between the Santa Cruz Warriors and College Park Skyhawks last season, averaging 11.1 points, 4.9 rebounds, 4.9 assists and 1.2 combined steals-plus-blocks across 21.4 minutes per tilt.

Smith recorded 21 points (9-14 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 3-4 FT), nine rebounds and three assists in 23 minutes during Sunday's 94-90 Summer League championship game win over the Grizzlies.
Smith got out to a hot start as soon as he came into the game Sunday, helping keep the Warriors close early in the game by continuously scoring at the rim. In addition to his offense, Smith did his part on the glass by contributing nine rebounds, including four on the offensive end. Smith's performance throughout Summer League seemingly made a strong case for a training camp invite.

Smith (wrist) logged 16 points (6-15 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 1-1 FT), nine rebounds, five assists and one steal in 24 minutes during Monday's 95-85 California Classic Summer League loss to the Heat.
Smith dealt with a wrist injury to close out the 2025-26 G League campaign, but he was able to make an appearance in Summer League on Monday. The 24-year-old guard put together a solid performance, logging 16 points and leading the team in rebounds and assists. Smith will look to continue his strong play in hopes of securing a training camp contract.
