  • Grizzlies' Santi Aldama: Game-high 29 points in win

Aldama tallied 29 points (11-18 FG, 5-11 3Pt, 2-3 FT), five rebounds, three assists and two blocks over 28 minutes during the Grizzlies' 137-96 win over the Kings on Thursday. Aldama made the most of his opportunity Thursday, when he made his first start of the regular season due to Jaren Jackson (ankle) being sidelined. Aldama reached the 20-point threshold for the first time this season while finishing with a game-high plus-28 point differential, and his five three-pointers were also a season high. The fifth-year pro will likely remain in the Grizzlies' starting lineup Saturday against the Kings if Jackson is not cleared to return.

  • Grizzlies' Santi Aldama: Making first start of season

Aldama is in the Grizzlies' starting lineup against the Kings on Thursday, Sean Cunningham of Fox 40 Sacramento reports. Aldama will make his first start of the 2025-26 regular season Thursday due to the absence of Jaren Jackson (ankle). Across nine games since Nov. 2, Aldama has averaged 13.9 points, 6.0 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 0.8 steals over 26.7 minutes per game. He should see an expanded role on offense, as the Grizzlies will be without their top stars in Jackson and Ja Morant (calf).

  • Grizzlies' Santi Aldama: Double-doubles in loss

Aldama totaled 12 points (5-9 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 0-2 FT), 11 rebounds, two assists and one steal over 25 minutes during Saturday's 108-100 loss to the Cavaliers. Aldama recorded his second double-double of the season, tallying double-digit points for the eighth consecutive game. As has been the case for the past couple of years, Aldama simply continues to find a way to put up fantasy value. Zach Edey made his return to the lineup; however, Ja Morant left the game early with a calf complaint. If Morant misses further time, Aldama should be able to maintain standard league value, at least for the time being.

  • Grizzlies' Santi Aldama: Productive outing off bench

Aldama logged 12 points (5-10 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 1-1 FT), nine rebounds, four assists, two blocks and one steal across 30 minutes during Sunday's 114-100 loss to the Thunder. Aldama was a late call for Sunday's game due to a shoulder injury, and not only was he upgraded to available before tip-off, but he posted another solid showing off the bench. This was his fifth straight game with double-digit points, a span where he's averaging 14.0 points, 4.8 rebounds, 2.0 assists and a combined 1.2 steals-plus-blocks per game.

  • Grizzlies' Santi Aldama: Good to go Sunday

Aldama (shoulder) is available for Sunday's game against the Thunder. Aldama will shed his questionable tag due to left shoulder soreness and suit up Sunday. Over his last five outings, the 24-year-old has averaged 13.0 points and 5.0 rebounds while shooting 39.0 percent from the field in 26.2 minutes per contest.

  • Grizzlies' Santi Aldama: Questionable to play Sunday

Aldama is questionable for Sunday's game against the Thunder due to shoulder soreness. Aldama has been a productive player for the Grizzlies this season, averaging 12.0 points, 6.3 rebounds, 2.1 assists and 1.1 steals across 25.0 minutes per game in 10 appearances. If he doesn't suit up Sunday, look for the Grizzlies to turn to Vince Williams, John Konchar or even Charles Bassey for extra minutes in the frontcourt.

  • Grizzlies' Santi Aldama: Sets new season-high scoring mark

Aldama ended with 16 points (5-12 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 5-6 FT), four rebounds, one assist, one block and two steals across 26 minutes during Wednesday's 124-109 loss to the Rockets. Aldama set a new season-high scoring mark, and the Spaniard continues to make a sizable impact off the bench. Aldama has hit double-digit scoring figures in all but one of his last six outings, and he should continue to find ways to produce as long as his minutes stay in the upper 20s. He's averaging 12.8 points, 6.5 rebounds and 2.7 assists per game over his last six appearances.

  • Grizzlies' Santi Aldama: Puts up season-high 15 points

Aldama totaled 15 points (5-14 FG, 2-7 3Pt, 3-4 FT), four rebounds and two assists over 28 minutes during Sunday's 117-104 loss to the Raptors. The big man took on a significant role off the bench in the absence of Ja Morant (suspension), putting up a season-high 15 points. Aldama's upside took a big hit this preseason when Jaren Jackson was cleared to return from toe surgery, and his production has been rather spotty as a result. Aldama has still averaged 11.0 points, 7.4 rebounds, 2.4 assists and 1.3 steals in 24.7 minutes per contest in seven games this season, so he remains worth holding in most leagues.

  • Grizzlies' Santi Aldama: Logs double-double from bench

Aldama amassed 14 points (6-12 FG, 2-5 3Pt), 10 rebounds, five assists and three steals across 31 minutes during Wednesday's 114-113 win over the Suns. Aldama spent some time on the injury report this week but has yet to miss a game. The fifth-year pro hasn't been able to grab a firm hold of a starting role during his tenure with the Grizzlies, but he has come through again and again when needed to fill gaps due to injury. Right now, Aldama can use his versatility to fill in at a few different positions, but one of those portals will close when Zach Edey (ankle) returns later this year.

  • Grizzlies' Santi Aldama: Iffy for Wednesday

Aldama (shoulder) is questionable for Wednesday's game against the Suns. Aldama is dealing with a shoulder injury, which could keep him sidelined. He's had a decent start to the season thus far, averaging 10.3 points, 7.0 rebounds, 1.8 assists, 1.3 steals and 1.0 blocks per game while shooting 47.4 percent from the field and 28.6 percent from beyond the arc.

  • Grizzlies' Santi Aldama: Good to go Saturday

Aldama (knee) is available for Saturday's game against Indiana. Aldama will shed his questionable tag due to right knee soreness and suit up Saturday. The 24-year-old has appeared in both of Memphis' games thus far, averaging 9.0 points, 7.0 rebounds, 1.0 assists, 1.0 steals, 1.0 blocks and 0.5 three-pointers in 22.0 minutes per contest.

  • Grizzlies' Santi Aldama: Questionable Saturday

Aldama (knee) is questionable to play in Saturday's game against the Pacers. Aldama is in danger of missing his first game of the 2025-26 campaign while nursing a knee issue. He's coming off a decent all-around performance against the Pelicans, posting five points, six rebounds, two assists, two blocks and a steal in 24 minutes. If he can't play Saturday, the team will likely pivot to Olivier-Maxence Prosper and GG Jackson to help shoulder the load in the frontcourt.

  • Grizzlies' Santi Aldama: Comes off bench in season opener

Aldama posted five points (2-7 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 1-3 FT), six rebounds, two assists, two blocks and a steal across 24 minutes in Wednesday's 128-122 win over New Orleans. Aldama ended up coming off the bench to start the regular season, backing up Jock Landale as the team's primary big men with Zach Edey (ankle) and Brandon Clarke (knee) out. Aldama led all bench players in minutes played, just one less minute than Landale, indicating that Aldama will still be an important piece in the rotation.

  • Grizzlies' Santi Aldama: Shifting to bench

Aldama is not in the starting lineup for Wednesday's preseason game against the Hornets, Sam Perley of the Hornets' official site reports. Aldama started the first three preseason games for the Grizzlies but will move to the bench with Jaren Jackson (toe) returning to action. Jock Landale will start alongside Jackson in the frontcourt, though Aldama could still push for a starting role once the regular season begins.

  • Grizzlies' Santi Aldama: Tallies 12 points in preseason loss

Aldama closed with 12 points (5-11 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 1-2 FT), six rebounds and two assists in 25 minutes during Wednesday's preseason loss to Boston. Aldama continues to slowly climb up draft boards, thanks largely to the fact that Memphis is already dealing with injuries to multiple key players. Having proven he can be an adequate fill-in when required, the expectation is that he will be in the starting lineup, at least to begin the season. Although his upside is relatively limited, he should see enough court time to warrant a roster spot in most standard fantasy leagues.

  • Grizzlies' Santi Aldama: Pops for 23 as season ends

Aldama ended Saturday's 117-115 loss to the Thunder in Game 4 of the first round of the Western Conference playoffs with 23 points (9-13 FG, 5-7 3Pt), nine rebounds and three assists across 40 minutes. Getting his first start of the playoffs with Ja Morant (hip) sidelined, Aldama topped 20 points for the first time in April, but it wasn't enough to prevent the Grizzlies from getting swept. The fourth-year big took a step forward with his level of play this season, and assuming he returns to the club as a restricted free agent, he should again have a key role in the Memphis frontcourt in 2025-26 alongside Jaren Jackson and Zach Edey.

  • Grizzlies' Santi Aldama: Set to start Saturday

Aldama is in the starting five for Saturday's Game 4 against the Thunder. Aldama will enter the starting lineup Saturday due to Ja Morant (hip) being ruled out. Aldama has averaged 12.0 points, 7.0 rebounds and 4.4 assists in 29.0 minutes across his 16 starting appearances this season.

  • Grizzlies' Santi Aldama: Scores 14 points in defeat

Aldama ended with 14 points (6-14 FG, 2-8 3Pt), six rebounds, one assist and one block over 31 minutes during Thursday's 114-108 loss to the Thunder in Game 3 of the first round of the Western Conference playoffs. Aldama led the Grizzlies' second unit in points and rebounds Thursday, albeit in a losing effort. The 24-year-old forward has recorded 30-plus minutes and double-digit points during each of his last two appearances. He's averaging 9.7 points, 5.0 rebounds and 1.3 assists across 27.0 minutes per game during the first round.

  • Grizzlies' Santi Aldama: Scores 10 points

Aldama racked up 10 points (4-11 FG, 2-6 3Pt) and five rebounds over 31 minutes during Tuesday's 118-99 loss to the Thunder in Game 2 of the first round of the Western Conference playoffs. Aldama was a key player for Memphis during the regular season with 12.5 points, 6.4 rebounds, 2.9 assists, 0.8 steals and 1.8 three-pointers across 65 appearances, but he's been struggling in the postseason. In two games versus the Thunder, Aldama has averaged 7.5 points, 4.5 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 1.5 three-pointers on a combined 6-of-17 shooting from the field. Zach Edey has struggled even more, however, so the Grizzlies could be looking to shake things up in Game 3 with the team staring at a 2-0 deficit.

  • Grizzlies' Santi Aldama: Notches 14 points

Aldama chipped in 14 points (5-8 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 3-3 FT), eight rebounds and two assists in 27 minutes during Tuesday's 121-116 Play-In Game loss to the Warriors. Aldama was a bright spot in the loss, and the Grizzlies may need even more from him Friday if Ja Morant is unable to play -- the guard tweaked his ankle in the loss, though he insists he's fine. Aldama had a terrific regular season, posting averages of 12.5 points, 6.4 rebounds, 2.9 assists, 0.8 steals and 1.8 three-pointers.
