  • Timberwolves' Anthony Edwards: Drops in 41 points with four steals

Edwards piled up 41 points (14-24 FG, 5-11 3Pt, 8-12 FT), five rebounds, four assists, four steals, one block and five turnovers across 40 minutes during Friday's 114-113 loss to Phoenix. Edwards had been struggling mightily in his previous three outings, converting just 33.3 percent of his shot attempts while going 2-for-23 from three-point range, but he got things back on track in a big way Friday night as he tied his season high in points. Despite a herculean effort from Edwards, the Wolves weren't able to take home the win, and they're now 0-6 this season against teams over .500.

  • Timberwolves' Anthony Edwards: Poor shooting from deep in win

Edwards totaled 13 points (5-14 FG, 1-7 3Pt, 2-2 FT), four rebounds, three assists and two steals in 29 minutes during Monday's 120-96 win over Dallas. Edwards posted his lowest scoring output in a full game this season, though Minnesota still rolled to a blowout victory. The star guard is stuck in a shooting slump, hitting only 9.1 percent of his three-point attempts over the past three games and 28.6 percent across his past five. Aside from the Oct. 26 contest in which he exited after three minutes due to a hamstring injury, Edwards is averaging 28.2 points, 4.9 rebounds, 4.0 assists and 1.3 steals in 33.3 minutes across nine appearances.

  • Timberwolves' Anthony Edwards: Goes for 30 points Friday

Edwards contributed 30 points (9-20 FG, 1-7 3Pt, 11-12 FT), four rebounds, four assists and two steals across 36 minutes during Friday's 124-110 victory over Sacramento. Edwards struggled with his shot from beyond the arc, going 1-for-7, but he still posted a strong stat line while reaching the 30-point mark for the third time in his last four contests. The hamstring injury that kept Edwards sidelined for four games between Oct. 27 and Nov. 3 is no longer an issue, and Edwards should remain the Timberwolves' undisputed primary scoring weapon every time he steps on the court. Considering he's scored at least 30 points in five of his eight outings in 2025-26, fantasy managers should continue to trust him in every format.

  • Timberwolves' Anthony Edwards: Offensive explosion in win

Edwards closed with 35 points (13-25 FG, 5-9 3Pt, 4-4 FT), six rebounds, six assists and one block over 38 minutes in Monday's 120-113 victory over Utah. Edwards was dominant Monday, leading all scorers and posting a season high in assists while fueling Minnesota's offense to victory. The star guard has topped 30 points in four of seven appearances, averaging 27.1 points, 4.1 rebounds and 3.3 assists on 50.4 percent shooting and 50.0 percent from beyond the arc.

  • Timberwolves' Anthony Edwards: Leads charge in big win

Edwards totaled 26 points (7-16 FG, 5-11 3Pt, 7-8 FT), four rebounds, five assists and two steals across 30 minutes during Sunday's 144-117 victory over Sacramento. The 26 points led Minnesota on the night, as did the five dimes and five made three-pointers. Edwards has been eased back into action since returning from a four-game absence due to a hamstring injury, but he's still averaged 26.0 points, 5.0 threes, 3.7 boards, 3.7 assists and 1.7 steals in 28.3 minutes over the last three contests while shooting a blistering 50.0 percent (15-for-30) from beyond the arc.

  • Timberwolves' Anthony Edwards: Explodes for 37 points Friday

Edwards closed with 37 points (12-21 FG, 7-12 3Pt, 6-7 FT), five rebounds, one assist, one block and one steal over 26 minutes during Friday's 137-97 win over the Jazz. The Timberwolves cruised to a 40-point blowout win over the Jazz on Friday, and Edwards was the leading offensive weapon for Minnesota. The 37-point output showed Edwards is fully recovered from the hamstring injury that saw him miss four games in a row between Oct. 27 and Nov. 3. He's also scored at least 30 points in three of his five outings this season. When healthy, Edwards should be a dominant scoring threat every time he steps on the hardwood.

  • Timberwolves' Anthony Edwards: Cleared to play

Edwards (hamstring) will play Friday against the Jazz. Edwards was listed as questionable, but he made it through shootaround with no setbacks. He had 15 points, five assists, two rebounds, two steals and three turnovers in 29 minutes during Wednesday's 137-114 loss to the Knicks, and he could be ready for a few more minutes Friday.

  • Timberwolves' Anthony Edwards: Scores 15 points with two steals

Edwards notched 15 points (5-13 FG, 3-7 3Pt, 2-3 FT), five assists, two rebounds, two steals and three turnovers in 29 minutes during Wednesday's 137-114 loss to the Knicks. Edwards seemed a bit rusty in his first game back from a four-game absence, but he was moving around fine, so hopefully, this is the last we'll hear of the hamstring issue. The Wolves do close out the week with a Sunday-Monday, back-to-back set, so it'll be interesting to see if Ant-Man gets cleared for both of those games.

  • Timberwolves' Anthony Edwards: Will play Wednesday

Edwards (hamstring) will play Wednesday's game against the Knicks, and he will not have any minutes restrictions, Shams Charania of ESPN reports. Edwards will be returning from a four-game absence, which should result in Mike Conley heading back to the second unit, and there will be fewer touches for Donte DiVincenzo. Bones Hyland could drop from the rotation entirely with Edwards active and without restrictions.

  • Timberwolves' Anthony Edwards: Goes through shootaround

Edwards (hamstring) participated in Wednesday's morning shootaround, ESPN's Tiim Bontemps reports. Edwards remains questionable for Wednesday's game against the Knicks, but he was a full participant Wednesday morning and continues to trend in the right direction. If he does get the green light, Edwards may have some limitations.

  • Timberwolves' Anthony Edwards: Goes through practice

Edwards (hamstring) participated in Tuesday's practice, Jon Krawczynski of The Athletic reports. This is an expected update after Edwards was cleared for basketball activities Monday. He's expected to be re-evaluated in the near future, and previous reports have indicated that he would return around mid-November. However, if Edwards responds well to Tuesday's increased activity, his return could be imminent.

  • Timberwolves' Anthony Edwards: Leads Wolves with 31 points

Edwards tallied 31 points (11-19 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 6-9 FT), five assists, four rebounds and one block over 35 minutes during the Timberwolves' 128-110 loss to the Lakers on Friday. Edwards followed up his 41-point performance on Opening Night with another strong outing Friday to lead the Timberwolves in scoring, though his efforts were overshadowed by Luka Doncic. Edwards connected on 44.7 percent of his field-goal attempts last year and has opened the 2025-26 regular season having gone 25-for-47 on his field-goal attempts through two games. Edwards will continue to be the focal point in the Timberwolves' offense with Julius Randle the clear second option.

  • Timberwolves' Anthony Edwards: Will play vs. Portland

Edwards (back) has been cleared to play in Wednesday's season opener against the Trail Blazers, NBA reporter Chris Haynes reports. Edwards has been battling back spasms, but it won't keep him off the floor. The superstar guard is coming off his best NBA season, averaging 27.6 points, 5.7 rebounds, 4.5 assists and 1.2 steals per game while shooting 44.7 percent from the field and a career-high 39.5 percent from beyond the arc.

  • Timberwolves' Anthony Edwards: Iffy for Wednesday

Edwards (back) is questionable for Wednesday's season opener against the Trail Blazers. Edwards is dealing with back spasms, which could result in him sitting for the regular-season opener. If the superstar guard is unable to play, the team will likely pivot to Donte DiVincenzo and Terrence Shannon to help shoulder the load in the backcourt.

  • Timberwolves' Anthony Edwards: Won't play in preseason finale

Edwards (rest) is out for Friday's preseason finale against the 76ers. Following Thursday's exhibition tilt against the Bulls, the Timberwolves will give their franchise centerpiece the night off Friday. Edwards will next set his sights on Wednesday's season opener against Portland.

  • Timberwolves' Anthony Edwards: Leads Minnesota with 25 points

Edwards ended with 25 points (9-19 FG, 3-7 3Pt, 4-5 FT), seven rebounds and five assists in 30 minutes during Thursday's preseason loss to the Bulls. Edwards led from the front, returning after missing the previous preseason contest due to rest purposes. Coming off another stellar season, Edwards is poised to take his game to yet another level this season. Minnesota has welcomed success in recent times, largely due to the play of Edwards. Look for him to shoulder even more responsibility in the hopes of leading the Timberwolves to an NBA title.

  • Timberwolves' Anthony Edwards: Disappointing performance Monday

Edwards posted 16 points (5-13 FG, 1-7 3Pt, 5-7 FT), four rebounds and six assists in 41 minutes during Monday's 128-126 loss to the Thunder in Game 4 of the Western Conference Finals. Edwards came up short in the loss, tallying just 16 points in what was arguably the most important game of the season. Although it's been a strong postseason, some questions remain when it comes to Edwards' ability to produce when it matters. Now trailing 3-1, Edwards will have a chance to redeem himself when the two teams meet in Oklahoma City on Wednesday, with Minnesota needing a win to extend the series.

  • Timberwolves' Anthony Edwards: Lands game-high 30 points

Edwards accumulated 30 points (12-17 FG, 5-8 3Pt, 1-2 FT), nine rebounds, six assists and two steals in 30 minutes during Saturday's 143-101 victory over the Thunder in Game 3 of the Western Conference Finals. Edwards carried the Timberwolves to a comfortable win in Game 3 of the Western Conference Finals, needing just 30 minutes to score a game-high 30 points. This one was never in doubt for Minnesota, allowing the starters to get some much-needed rest during the final quarter. Edwards will be looking for a repeat performance when the two teams meet again Monday, with the Timberwolves having a chance to level the series at 2-2.

  • Timberwolves' Anthony Edwards: Shines in Game 3 victory

Edwards provided 30 points (12-17 FG, 5-8 3Pt, 1-2 FT), nine rebounds, six assists and two steals over 30 minutes during Saturday's 143-101 win over the Thunder in Game 3 of the Western Conference Finals. Edwards could've ended with an even higher scoring output, but he sat out the entire fourth quarter. Despite that, the star guard still ended just one board and four dimes away from a triple-double. Edwards and the Timberwolves delivered an answer following back-to-back losses in the first two games of the series, and now Minnesota has a realistic shot at evening things up before returning to Oklahoma City for Game 5 on Wednesday, May 28.

  • Timberwolves' Anthony Edwards: Returns Tuesday

Edwards (ankle) has returned in the second quarter of Tuesday's Game 1 of the Western Conference Finals against the Thunder, Marc J. Spears of ESPN.com reports. Edwards tweaked his ankle in the first quarter and began the second in the locker room before checking back in at the 7:01 mark. The superstar appears to be moving well and will likely be able to shoulder his normal workload the rest of the way.
