  • Bulls' Caleb Wilson: Won't play Friday

Wilson (rest) is out for Friday's Las Vegas Summer League finale versus the Cavs, K.C. Johnson of Chicago Sports Network reports.

Wilson will sit out the Summer League finale for rest, but he's not dealing with any sort of injury. He played well in Las Vegas, averaging 23.5 points, 7.3 rebounds, 1.8 assists, 3.3 triples, 1.3 steals and 2.5 swats per contest on 50/42/33 shooting splits.

  • Bulls' Caleb Wilson: Sloppy effort in loss Thursday

Wilson finished with 21 points (7-15 FG, 1-6 3Pt, 3-5 FT), eight rebounds, two assists, one steal and one block over 24 minutes in Thursday's 105-82 Summer League loss to the Lakers.

Wilson erupted for 35 points in the 97-96 loss to Memphis to begin his time in the Las Vegas Summer League. He hasn't been as productive since, though he has shown signs of promise. Wilson has an opportunity to contribute immediately with Chicago during the 2026-27 campaign. However, his ceiling won't be as high if he continues to commit turnovers while failing to improve his three-point shooting.

  • Bulls' Caleb Wilson: Solid again in SL win

Wilson finished with 19 points (7-15 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 1-1 FT), eight rebounds, two assists and one block across 24 minutes in Tuesday's 99-86 Summer League victory over Washington.

Wilson had another fantastic Summer League performance, amassing 19 points for a second straight contest. While the 2026 No. 4 overall pick has committed a combined 13 turnovers in his three Las Vegas Summer League appearances, he has made up for it by totaling seven steals and nine blocks during that span. It's unclear how much more action Wilson will see during the Bulls' remaining time in Las Vegas, though it wouldn't be surprising if he were shut down, considering he's already expected to hold a prominent role in the rotation during the 2026-27 campaign.

  • Bulls' Caleb Wilson: Full stat line in SL loss

Wilson produced 19 points (8-17 FG, 3-8 3Pt, 0-6 FT), eight rebounds, five blocks, two assists and two steals across 29 minutes in Monday's 80-63 Summer League loss to the Jazz.

Wilson scored just seven points on 3-of-11 shooting through the first three quarters, though he was dominant on both ends of the floor in the fourth and finished as Chicago's leading scorer. He also knocked down three triples and was efficient from downtown Monday after shooting 7-for-11 from deep in his Summer League debut. The rookie No. 4 overall pick also turned in another impressive game on the defensive end, and he's racked up eight blocks and four steals through two Las Vegas Summer League games.

  • Bulls' Caleb Wilson: Impresses in Summer League debut

Wilson finished with 35 points (12-21 FG, 7-11 3Pt, 2-6 FT), five rebounds, three blocks and two steals across 33 minutes in Friday's 97-96 Summer League loss to the Grizzlies.

Wilson put on a show in his Summer League debut, looking extremely confident from beyond the arc while making some difficult shots en route to a game-high 35 points. He shot just 25.9 percent from three-point range in his lone season at North Carolina, so developing a consistent outside shot would significantly boost his long-term outlook in the Association. While it's only one Summer League game, Friday's performance was nonetheless encouraging. The 19-year-old forward also impressed on the defensive end, tying the game-high mark in steals while finishing second on the Bulls in blocks.

  • Bulls' Caleb Wilson: Heading to Chicago

Wilson was selected by the Bulls with the No. 4 overall pick in the 2026 NBA Draft.

Wilson will now head to Chicago after playing his only collegiate season at North Carolina. The 19-year-old logged 24 regular-season appearances for the Tar Heels, averaging 19.8 points, 9.4 rebounds, 2.7 assists, 1.4 blocks and 1.5 steals across 31.3 minutes per game. However, after suffering a fractured left hand during the Feb. 10 meeting with Miami, he subsequently sustained a broken right thumb in practice, resulting in season-ending surgery. Wilson's athleticism and explosiveness set him apart from most, though he had trouble taking care of the ball, averaging 2.0 turnovers per contest. His three-point shooting also needs work. With that in mind, Wilson has a high ceiling, but it may take him time to develop and improve in certain areas. Still, he will have an opportunity to earn minutes immediately with the Bulls, a team focused on rebuilding around Matas Buzelis (ankle) and Josh Giddey (ankle), even though there could be some growing pains along the way.
