  • Spurs' De'Aaron Fox: Leads San Antonio to win Thursday

Fox recorded 26 points (9-16 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 6-10 FT), five rebounds, nine assists and three steals across 31 minutes in Thursday's 135-126 win over the Hawks. Fox was one of three Spurs players to score at least 20 points, but he also dazzled as a playmaker. He's been doing a good job of shouldering most of the offensive load due to the absences of Victor Wembanyama (calf), Stephon Castle (hip) and Dylan Harper (calf). This was Fox's third straight game with 25-plus points and the third time over the last four in which he's dished out nine or more assists.

  • Spurs' De'Aaron Fox: Leads San Antonio in scoring

Fox ended Tuesday's 111-101 win over the Grizzlies with 26 points (10-20 FG, 3-8 3Pt, 3-4 FT), three assists, two steals, one rebound and one block in 33 minutes. Fox was efficient from the field in this one, leading the way with 26 points by draining half of his attempts from the field. He wasn't as productive as he typically is distributing the basketball, considering he totaled 21 dimes over his last two matchups, but he made up for it with a solid defensive effort. The strong start to the 2025-26 campaign continues for Fox, who has now registered 20-plus points in five of his first six games.

  • Spurs' De'Aaron Fox: Big double-double in Sunday's win

Fox totaled 28 points (11-20 FG, 4-8 3Pt, 2-2 FT), two rebounds, 11 assists and one steal across 35 minutes during Sunday's 123-110 win over Sacramento. The 27-year-old point guard came up big with Victor Wembanyama (calf) sidelined, as Fox led the Spurs in scoring while setting a new season high in points and recording his second straight double-double. Fox has been productive in five games since making a belated season debut due to a strained hamstring, averaging 22.0 points, 6.8 assists, 3.6 boards, 2.4 threes and 1.0 steals a contest.

  • Spurs' De'Aaron Fox: Misses go-ahead jumper

Fox closed with 24 points (10-22 FG, 4-8 3Pt), four rebounds, 10 assists, one block and three steals over 33 minutes during Friday's 109-108 loss to the Warriors. Although Fox missed the most important shot of the game as time expired, his double-double was encouraging after a mediocre showing in the first game of the two-game set against the Warriors. Better numbers should be on the horizon for Fox as he gets up to speed, but he's averaged a respectable 20.5 points, 5.8 assists, 4.0 rebounds and 1.0 steals over four games since his season debut.

  • Spurs' De'Aaron Fox: Struggles with shot in loss

Fox finished Wednesday's 125-120 loss to the Warriors with 13 points (5-14 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 2-2 FT), five rebounds and five assists in 36 minutes. Victor Wembanyama led the way for the Spurs with a 30-point triple-double, but Fox was unable to follow suit and struggled with his shot throughout the game, including going 1-for-5 from three-point range. The veteran floor general could get a few nights off during back-to-back sets, as he works his way back to 100 percent after a hamstring injury sidelined him to start the campaign. However, fantasy managers shouldn't overreact to one bad game, and Fox is averaging 34.7 minutes through three appearances, which suggests he doesn't have any limitations despite making his season debut Nov. 8.

  • Spurs' De'Aaron Fox: Team-high 24 points in season debut

Fox (hamstring) produced 24 points (9-14 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 4-5 FT), three rebounds, three assists and one steal in 31 minutes during Saturday's 126-119 win over the Pelicans. Fox played his first game of the season after missing the first eight contests due to a right hamstring strain. San Antonio was cautious in not rushing him back before he had made a full recovery from the injury, so he was able to return to action Saturday without a minutes restriction. Despite missing on both of his field-goal attempts in the first quarter, Fox eventually settled in and finished as the Spurs' leading scorer on the night.

  • Spurs' De'Aaron Fox: Starting Saturday

Fox (hamstring) will be in the starting lineup for Saturday's game against the Pelicans, NBA reporter Matthew Tynan reports. Fox is set to make his regular-season debut, and while he won't have any official minutes restrictions, the Spurs are expected to be cautious with him in his first game back from a hamstring injury. Joining him in the first unit will be Stephon Castle, Devin Vassell, Harrison Barnes and Victor Wembanyama.

  • Spurs' De'Aaron Fox: Set to make season debut Saturday

Fox (hamstring), who won't play in Friday's game against Houston, is expected to make his season debut during Saturday's contest against the Pelicans, Shams Charania of ESPN reports. Although the star guard won't suit up Friday, he's in line to play in the second half of the Spurs' back-to-back Saturday. Fox has been recovering from a strained hamstring since training camp, so it's possible he'll have a minutes restriction against New Orleans. His return is likely to push Julian Champagnie from the starting lineup.

  • Spurs' De'Aaron Fox: Ruled out for Friday

Fox (hamstring) won't play in Friday's game against Houston, NBA reporter Matthew Tynan reports. Fox's season debut will have to wait at least one more contest. The star guard's next possible return date comes Saturday against the Pelicans, though it's unclear how close he is to returning. Stephon Castle should continue to play a more pronounced role in the backcourt, with Keldon Johnson being an option for more playing time.

  • Spurs' De'Aaron Fox: Another absence coming

Fox (hamstring) will not play Wednesday against the Lakers, Jared Weiss of The Athletic reports. Fox continues to be ruled out of games a day in advance, which indicates he still has some hurdles to clear in his recovery. Consider him doubtful at best for Nov. 7 against the Rockets.

  • Spurs' De'Aaron Fox: Remains out against Phoenix

Fox (hamstring) will not play Sunday against the Suns, Paul Garcia of ProjectSpurs.com reports. Fox has yet to debut this season as he continues to rehab from his hamstring injury. His next chance to play comes Wednesday against the Lakers.

  • Spurs' De'Aaron Fox: Won't play Friday

Fox (hamstring) has been ruled out for Friday's game against the Pelicans, Jared Weiss of The Athletic reports. Fox will remain sidelined due to a hamstring injury. The next chance for the veteran guard to get back on the floor will be Sunday against the Nets. Stephon Castle, Jordan McLaughlin and Dylan Harper will continue to shoulder the load in the backcourt.

  • Spurs' De'Aaron Fox: Officially ruled out for Wednesday

Fox (hamstring) is officially listed as out for Wednesday's season opener against the Mavericks. No surprise here, as Fox is still rehabbing from his strained right hamstring. The star guard can be considered doubtful for future game action until the Spurs update his return timeline. It remains to be seen who'll replace Fox in the starting lineup, but rookie first-rounder Dylan Harper appears to be a prime candidate.

  • Spurs' De'Aaron Fox: Remains doubtful for Opening Night

Fox (hamstring) remains doubtful for Opening Night, Jared Weiss of The Athletic reports. Fox was able to do some scrimmaging at Friday's shootaround, but it sounds like the Spurs are bringing him along slowly. Fox has been battling this hamstring strain since the end of September, and he's likely looking at an early-November return. In Fox's absence, the Spurs could lean on Stephon Castle and Dylan Harper in the early going.

  • Spurs' De'Aaron Fox: Not expected for season opener

Fox (hamstring) told the media Monday that he does not expect to be ready for the start of the regular season, Spurs' broadcaster Jacob Tobey reports. Fox, who also had surgery on his left pinkie finger March 13, is participating in basketball activity and feeling good, though the team remains cautious with a right hamstring issue. It isn't expected to be a long-term concern, but signs point to him missing some time early in the season, potentially giving rookie Dylan Harper or veteran Jordan McLaughlin added opportunities in the backcourt.

  • Spurs' De'Aaron Fox: Undergoing season-ending surgery

Fox will undergo season-ending surgery Tuesday to repair tendon damage to his left pinkie finger, Shams Charania of ESPN reports. While he was still playing for the Kings back in November, Fox admitted that he was playing through a ligament injury in the finger. The injury didn't seem to compromise his play, and he missed just four games all season due to a right thumb sprain, and none after being traded by Sacramento to San Antonio in early February. With the 27-37 Spurs having faded from the playoff race and with Victor Wembanyama (blood clot) already out for the season, Fox will opt to get the finger injury addressed now rather than waiting until the offseason to have surgery. He'll conclude his eighth NBA season with averages of 23.5 points, 6.3 assists, 4.8 rebounds, 1.9 three-pointers and 1.5 steals in 36.1 minutes per game while shooting 46.3 percent from the field over his 62 appearances. In Fox's absence, Stephon Castle is the likely candidate to fill the opening in the Spurs' starting five alongside Chris Paul, while reserves Julian Champagnie and Keldon Johnson could benefit from more playing time over the rest of the season.

  • Spurs' De'Aaron Fox: Leads all scorers with 32 points

Fox ended with 32 points (12-25 FG, 2-7 3Pt, 6-6 FT), nine rebounds, 11 assists and one steal across 41 minutes during Wednesday's 126-116 victory over the Mavericks. Fox scored a game-high 32 points, the most he has scored since arriving in San Antonio prior to the trade deadline. Although a season-ending health scare for Victor Wembanyama has set the Spurs back a little when it comes to their timeline, Fox has been able to deliver serviceable production on most nights. Over the past 14 games, he is averaging 20.0 points, 4.5 rebounds, 6.3 assists, 1.2 steals and 1.6 three-pointers.

  • Spurs' De'Aaron Fox: Pops for team-high 22 in loss

Fox had a team-high 22 points (8-12 FG, 4-6 3Pt, 2-2 FT), two rebounds and three assists over 27 minutes during Sunday's 141-124 loss to Minnesota. The four made threes represented his best performance from beyond the arc as a member of the Spurs. Fox's numbers have dropped a bit since the trade, and being the focal point of the offense in the absence of Victor Wembanyama (shoulder) hasn't improved matters. Over 10 games since Wembanyama was lost for the season, Fox has averaged 18.1 points, 5.8 assists, 4.3 boards, 1.7 threes and 1.5 steals, but he's shooting just 41.4 percent from the floor and 27.0 percent from long distance.

  • Spurs' De'Aaron Fox: Struggles against former team

Fox accumulated 16 points (6-17 FG, 0-6 3Pt, 4-5 FT), four rebounds, eight assists and one steal in 33 minutes during Friday's 127-109 loss to the Kings. Fox was certainly motivated to post a big number against his former team, but things did not go as planned. He failed to connect beyond the arc and posted subpar numbers in the loss. The Spurs won't make the playoffs and are a bit lost without Victor Wembanyama (shoulder). They are 3-7 over the past 10 games with no signs of improving, making Fox a less desirable fantasy target compared to his value with the Kings.

  • Spurs' De'Aaron Fox: Sinks game-winning shot

Fox totaled 20 points (7-17 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 5-5 FT), three rebounds, seven assists, one block and one steal over 35 minutes during Saturday's 130-128 victory over the Grizzlies. Fox iced the game for the Spurs in the final seconds with a clutch mid-range jumper. The former Kings floor general has adjusted well to life in San Antonio and is thriving alongside Chris Paul in the backcourt. Fox is averaging 19.6 points, 4.3 rebounds, 6.8 assists and 2.1 steals per game since joining the Spurs.
