  • Jazz's Kyle Anderson: Well-rounded line in return

Anderson (lower back) provided five points (2-5 FG, 1-2 FT), five assists, three rebounds and two steals in 20 minutes off the bench in Tuesday's 140-126 loss to the Lakers. Anderson had missed the Jazz's previous four games while he managed a right lower back injury, but after getting cleared to play shortly before the opening tip, he ended up filling a prominent role off the bench. He and Kevin Love were the first Jazz reserves to check into the game, and Anderson nearly ended up matching starting wings Ace Bailey (23 minutes) and Svi Mykhailiuk (25 minutes) in playing time. Prior to getting hurt, Anderson hadn't been a consistent member of the Utah rotation, so despite his solid showing Tuesday, he may not be in line for a regular role once the Jazz draw closer to full strength. Though Taylor Hendricks (hamstring) suited up Tuesday, he didn't play and might have been available only in an emergency after missing the previous four games. Utah was also without Kyle Filipowski (wrist) for the first time all season.

  • Jazz's Kyle Anderson: Available to play

Anderson (back) is available for Tuesday's game against the Lakers, Andy Larsen of The Salt Lake Tribune reports. Anderson will return from a four-game absence, which could mean fewer minutes for Kevin Love. Anderson is averaging 7.0 points and 3.0 assists per game on the season.

  • Jazz's Kyle Anderson: Questionable for Tuesday

Anderson (back) is questionable for Tuesday's game against the Lakers, Ben Anderson of KSL News Salt Lake City reports. Anderson is in jeopardy of missing his fifth consecutive contest due to a back issue. If the veteran forward remains sidelined, Cody Williams could continue seeing an uptick in minutes.

  • Jazz's Kyle Anderson: Confirmed out for Sunday

Anderson (back) will not play Sunday against the Bulls. Anderson will be sidelined for a fourth straight game, but the veteran forward remains day-to-day. Consider him questionable for Tuesday's game against the Lakers.

  • Jazz's Kyle Anderson: Iffy for Sunday

Anderson (back) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Bulls. Anderson is in jeopardy of missing his fourth consecutive contest due to a lower back issue. If the veteran forward is ultimately ruled out, Cody Williams could see a slight bump in minutes.

  • Jazz's Kyle Anderson: Won't play Thursday

Anderson (back) won't play in Thursday's game against Atlanta. Thursday's absence is Anderson's third straight. The veteran forward is dealing with lingering back soreness. With Taylor Hendricks (hamstring) also out, Cody Williams should see considerable run off the bench. Anderson's next chance to play will come Sunday against the Bulls.

  • Jazz's Kyle Anderson: Out vs. Pacers

Anderson (back) is out for Tuesday's game against the Pacers. Anderson will miss a second straight game due to back soreness. The veteran forward's next chance to play comes Thursday against Atlanta. Given that Taylor Hendricks (hamstring) is also out, the door is open for rookie first-rounder Ace Bailey to claim a more consistent role.

  • Jazz's Kyle Anderson: Unavailable vs. Minnesota

Anderson (back) is out for Monday's game against the Timberwolves. Anderson was initially listed as questionable due to right lower back soreness, and the team has ultimately decided to hold him out Monday. With Taylor Hendricks (hamstring) also out, Kyle Filipowski and Ace Bailey could see more opportunities Monday night.

  • Jazz's Kyle Anderson: Questionable for Monday

Anderson (back) is questionable for Monday's game against the Timberwolves. Monday's game is the front end of a back-to-back set, and a maintenance day could be on the table for Anderson. He's appeared in just three games thus far, so his status won't carry many fantasy implications.

  • Jazz's Kyle Anderson: Sees first minutes of season

Anderson totaled eight points (3-6 FG, 2-3 FT), three rebounds and three assists in 25 minutes during Friday's 118-96 loss to the Suns. Despite being cleared to suit up ahead of the regular-season opener, Anderson didn't see any playing time during Utah's first four games of the season. Most of Anderson's playing time Friday came at the expense of Kyle Filipowski, who started but played only 10 minutes. It's unclear if Anderson will be a regular part of the rotation moving forward, but leading the bench in minutes is certainly a step in the right direction.

  • Jazz's Kyle Anderson: Will play in season opener

Anderson (knee) has been cleared to play in Wednesday's game against the Clippers, Ben Anderson of KSL News Salt Lake City reports. Anderson didn't play in the preseason finale due to a knee issue. The veteran forward will be available to begin the regular season. It remains to be seen what kind of impact he'll have from a fantasy perspective, but it's expected to be minimal.

  • Jazz's Kyle Anderson: Ruled out for Thursday

Anderson (knee) won't play in Thursday's preseason finale against the Trail Blazers, Andy Larsen of The Salt Lake Tribune reports. • Jazz's Kyle Anderson: Sits out practice Sunday

Anderson did not practice Sunday due to right knee tendinitis, according to KSL Sports. This sounds like a day-to-day issue for Anderson, and the Jazz are known to tread carefully with their players. Anderson should be considered questionable for Monday's exhibition against Dallas.

  • Jazz's Kyle Anderson: Joins Utah

The Heat traded Anderson and Kevin Love to the Jazz on Monday in a three-team deal that sent John Collins (ankle) to the Clippers and Norman Powell to the Heat, Shams Charania of ESPN reports. Anderson has two years left on his contract valued at a total of $18.8 million. The Jazz acquired a 2027 second-round pick via Los Angeles to absorb his contract, however. If the Jazz intend to keep him around, Anderson could be a valuable veteran mentor for Utah's young roster. Anderson made just 61 regular-season appearances in 2024-25, posting averages of 5.9 points, 3.4 rebounds and 2.4 assists in 16.4 minutes.

  • Heat's Kyle Anderson: Limited to eight minutes

Anderson ended with zero points (0-1 FG) in eight minutes during Monday's 138-83 loss to Cleveland in Game 4 of the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs. Anderson shook off a questionable tag and was able to play through his illness Monday, but Miami didn't exactly need him much with this game pretty much over by the second quarter. Following his mid-season trade from Golden State, Anderson was used sparingly by the Heat in the regular season, as the veteran saw 18.4 minutes across 25 appearances with 6.7 points, 3.8 rebounds, 2.6 assists, 0.6 steals and 0.5 blocks.

  • Heat's Kyle Anderson: Available for Game 4

Anderson (illness) is available for Monday's Game 4 against the Cavaliers, Tim Reynolds of Associated Press reports. After being a late addition to the injury report, Anderson will be available to play through an illness Monday. The veteran forward has played just six minutes in the Eastern Conference quarterfinals and hasn't appeared in the past two games, so he's not a guarantee to see the floor in Game 4.

  • Heat's Kyle Anderson: Questionable Monday

Anderson (illness) is listed as questionable for Monday's Game 4 against the Cavaliers. Anderson was a late addition to the injury report and is in jeopardy of missing Monday's game due to an illness. The veteran forward has recorded a DNP in each of the Heat's last two games, so his potential absence shouldn't cause any significant waves in Miami's rotation.

  • Heat's Kyle Anderson: Flirts with triple-double

Anderson ended with eight points (4-6 FG), eight rebounds, six assists and two blocks across 25 minutes during Monday's 117-105 victory over the 76ers. Bam Adebayo (back) sat this game out, and the Heat were shorthanded again, allowing Anderson to see extended run off the bench. He's certainly trending in the right direction as a fantasy streamer, posting averages of 11.3 points, 6.3 rebounds, 3.0 assists, 1.0 steals and 0.8 blocks in 25.3 minutes over his last four games.

  • Heat's Kyle Anderson: Hits for season-high 19

Anderson racked up 19 points (7-11 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 4-4 FT), one rebound, one assist and one steal across 24 minutes off the bench during Wednesday's 124-103 victory over the Celtics. It was his best scoring performance of the season, and just the sixth time in 19 appearances for the Heat that Anderson has scored in double digits. The veteran forward has had trouble establishing himself in Miami's rotation since being acquired from Golden State, but injuries in the frontcourt have given him an opportunity, and he's taking advantage. Anderson has been in the rotation for five straight contests and played at least 20 minutes in four of them, averaging 10.4 points, 2.8 boards, 2.6 assists and 1.0 steals in 21.2 minutes during that span.
