  • Rangers' Gavin Collyer: Optioned to Triple-A

The Rangers optioned Collyer to Triple-A Round Rock on Monday, Evan Grant of The Dallas Morning News reports. After going unscored upon in his first 11 outings in the big leagues, Collyer had allowed eight runs (seven earned) with a 7:10 K:BB over 7.1 frames covering his last seven appearances. Robby Ahlstrom is grabbing Collyer's spot on the roster and in the bullpen.

  • Rangers' Gavin Collyer: Moves up to majors

The Rangers recalled Collyer from Triple-A Round Rock on Sunday. Collyer will be up with the Rangers for the second time in 2026 after posting a 2.84 ERA, 1.11 WHIP and 10:8 K:BB in 12.2 innings over 14 appearances during a month-long stint in the majors earlier in the season. The right-hander is expected to fill a low-leverage role out of the bullpen.

  • Rangers' Gavin Collyer: Sent to Triple-A

The Rangers optioned Collyer to Triple-A Round Rock on Tuesday. The right-hander threw 35 pitches in three innings across Sunday's and Monday's contests, so he'll be the odd man out of the bullpen with Chris Martin (biceps) coming off the injured list. Collyer has been an effective relief option for Texas this year with a 2.84 ERA, 1.11 WHIP and 10:8 K:BB across 12.2 innings, so it should only be a matter of time before he's back in the big-league bullpen.

  • Rangers' Gavin Collyer: Selected from Triple-A

The Rangers selected Collyer's contract from Triple-A Round Rock on Wednesday, Kennedi Landry of MLB.com reports. Collyer will come up from the minors to help fill the holes in Texas' bullpen left by Chris Martin (biceps) and Luis Curvelo (shoulder). The 24-year-old Collyer has started the Triple-A season strong, giving up just two runs over 6.2 innings while striking out 11 batters and walking two. He'll be making his MLB debut whenever he gets into a game.
