White Sox's Alexander Albertus: Returns from 7-day IL
Albertus (tibia) has gone 2-for-11 with two doubles, two walks, three RBI and one run across three games for Single-A Kannapolis since being reinstated from the 7-day injured list Tuesday.
Albertus was cleared to make his debut for Kannapolis after completing a four-game rehab assignment in the rookie-level Arizona Complex League earlier this month. Since being acquired from the Dodgers in July 2024, Albertus has been limited to 15 total minor-league appearances with the White Sox due to multiple injuries to his left tibia.

White Sox's Alexander Albertus: Nearing return
Albertus is continuing his recovery from a fractured left tibia suffered in July 2024, with the hope that he'll be able to join an affiliate by the end of April, Jim Callis of MLB Pipeline reports.
Albertus played in eight games in the Arizona Complex League last June, logging a 168 wRC+, but he presumably re-injured his surgically repaired tibia, as he didn't play again after June 23. Given that the former Dodgers farmhand is already 21, he could spend most of the season at High-A Winston-Salem.

White Sox's Alexander Albertus: Returns from IL
Single-A Kannapolis activated Albertus (tibia) from its 7-day injured list Tuesday.
Albertus has yet to make his debut for Kannapolis, but he's apparently healthy again after he recently wrapped up an eight-game rehab assignment in the rookie-level Arizona Complex League, during which he slashed .333/.520/.444 with three stolen bases across 25 plate appearances. Acquired last July in a three-team deal with the Dodgers and Cardinals, Albertus didn't make his organizational debut with the White Sox until earlier this month while completing his recovery from surgery to reset a fractured left tibia.
