  • Nathan Wiles: Signs with Korean club

The Kiwoom Heroes of the Korea Baseball Organization signed Wiles to a one-year, $910,000 contract Tuesday, Yoo Jee-ho of Yonhap News Agency reports. Wiles made one appearance with Atlanta in 2025, allowing three runs in an inning of work. The 27-year-old will get an opportunity to be part of the Heroes' rotation.

  • Nathan Wiles: Released by Atlanta

Atlanta released Wiles on Tuesday, David O'Brien of The Athletic reports. Wiles was knocked around in his lone appearance with Atlanta in 2025, allowing three runs over one inning of work in his major-league debut. The 27-year-old pitched well at Triple-A Gwinnett, collecting a 3.04 ERA and 105:34 K:BB across 112.2 frames. Wiles has experience as a starter and as a reliever.

  • Braves' Nathan Wiles: Recalled from Triple-A

Atlanta recalled Wiles from Triple-A Gwinnett on Friday. Wiles was knocked around in his major-league debut earlier this season with Atlanta, allowing three runs over one inning. He's been used mostly as a starter at Gwinnett, so Wiles will offer length in the bullpen after starter Cal Quantrill lasted only 3.1 innings in Thursday's loss to the Phillies.

  • Braves' Nathan Wiles: Sent back to Triple-A

Atlanta optioned Wiles to Triple-A Gwinnett on Saturday. Wiles was called up from Triple-A on Wednesday but will return to the minors without making an appearance for the big club. Joey Wentz, who was claimed off waivers from Minnesota on Friday, will officially report to Atlanta to claim the open bullpen spot.

  • Braves' Nathan Wiles: Demoted after rough MLB debut

Atlanta optioned Wiles to Triple-A Gwinnett on Wednesday. After getting his first MLB call-up Tuesday, Wiles looked like a strong candidate to serve as a bulk reliever in Atlanta's matchup with St. Louis. However, Atlanta ended up treating the game as more of a bullpen day, with opener Scott Blewett covering the first three innings and then being followed by four other relievers before Wiles entered the game in the top of the ninth with his team trailing 7-4. Wiles didn't do anything to distinguish himself in the low-leverage appearance, giving up three earned runs on four hits while striking out a batter in his lone inning. He'll now head back to Gwinnett, where he'll presumably slot back into the rotation.
