  • Mariners' Nick Davila: Shuttered for season

The Mariners transferred Davila (shoulder) from the 15-day injured list to the 60-day IL on Sunday. Davila's initial placement on the shelf was retroactive to Aug. 31, so his move to the 60-day IL will officially bring an end to his season. Before going down with an SC joint sprain in his right shoulder, Davila made 24 appearances out of the Seattle bullpen and submitted a 4.94 ERA and 1.35 WHIP across 27.1 innings.

  • Mariners' Nick Davila: Out with sprained shoulder

The Mariners placed Davila on the 15-day injured list Monday with a right SC joint sprain in his shoulder. Davila had just been recalled from Triple-A Tacoma on Sunday, and he hurt himself in an appearance later that day in the Mariners' 7-0 loss to the Blue Jays. Though he will be eligible for activation in mid-September, the nature of the injury points to Davila being out longer than that, possibly for the rest of the season.

  • Mariners' Nick Davila: Brought up to Seattle

The Mariners recalled Davila from Triple-A Tacoma on Sunday. After recently being optioned Aug. 21, Davila will rejoin the big-league club as they wrap up a pivotal three-game set in Toronto. The 27-year-old has appeared in 23 MLB games this season, registering a 4.10 ERA, 1.22 WHIP and 13:11 K:BB over 26.1 innings. Seattle sent Emerson Hancock (groin) to the 15-day injured list in a corresponding move.

  • Mariners' Nick Davila: Relegated to Triple-A

The Mariners optioned Davila to Triple-A Tacoma on Friday. Davila has given up four runs (three earned) in 3.2 innings since coming up from Triple-A on Aug. 7. Now sporting a 4.10 ERA and 1.22 WHIP across 26.1 major-league innings on the season, the 27-year-old will head back to the minors to make room for Carlos Vargas (lat), who returned from the IL in a corresponding move. Davila could still return to make a few more appearances down the stretch for Seattle whenever the big club needs fresh bullpen depth.

  • Mariners' Nick Davila: Back with big club

The Mariners recalled Davila from Triple-A Tacoma on Friday. Cole Wilcox was placed on the 15-day IL with a left oblique strain in a corresponding move. Davila has pitched in 20 games out of the Seattle bullpen this season, logging a 3.57 ERA, 1.19 WHIP and 9:11 K:BB across 22.2 innings.

  • Mariners' Nick Davila: Demoted to Triple-A

The Mariners optioned Davila to Triple-A Tacoma on Sunday. Davila allowed a run over 1.1 innings during Saturday's game against the Rangers and will now head to Triple-A in favor of a fresh bullpen arm. The 27-year-old rookie has a 3.57 ERA and 1.19 WHIP over 22.2 innings this year, though his 9:11 K:BB paints a less-encouraging outlook of his performance.

  • Mariners' Nick Davila: Up from Tacoma

The Mariners recalled Davila from Triple-A Tacoma on Tuesday. Davila will return to the big leagues as the roster replacement for Cooper Criswell (shoulder), who landed on the 15-day injured list Tuesday. Davila has fired 7.1 shutout innings with the Mariners this season, though he's done so while posting a 4:6 K:BB. He'll likely be limited to middle-relief duty while with Seattle.

  • Mariners' Nick Davila: Back with Mariners as NRI

The Mariners re-signed Davila to a minor-league contract Wednesday that includes an invitation to spring training, Ari Alexander of KPRC 2 Houston reports. Davila spent the 2025 campaign at Double-A Arkansas, posting a 3.55 ERA and 40:22 K:BB over 50.2 innings. He'll turn 27 later this month and will likely begin the 2026 season in the bullpen at Triple-A Tacoma.
