Orioles' Kyle Bradish: Fans 10 in return to rotation
Bradish (0-1) took the loss Tuesday as the Orioles were downed 5-0 by the Red Sox, giving up two runs on four hits over six innings. He struck out 10 without walking a batter.
The 28-year-old righty staged an impressive return from elbow surgery, as Bradish racked up 15 swinging strikes among his 81 pitches (51 total strikes). He served up solo shots to Trevor Story and David Hamilton, but a lack of run support more than anything spoiled Bradish's 2025 debut. Bradish will look for a better result in his next start, which is scheduled to come on the road early next week in San Diego.

Orioles' Kyle Bradish: Activated ahead of season debut
The Orioles activated Bradish (elbow) from the 60-day injured list Tuesday.
Bradish is set to make his season debut Tuesday against the Red Sox after completing the long road back from Tommy John surgery with an internal brace. The right-hander posted a 4.91 ERA and 25:8 K:BB over 22 innings covering six rehab starts. Bradish threw 89 pitches during his final rehab outing, so he should be prepared to take on a fairly normal workload Tuesday.

Orioles' Kyle Bradish: Season debut set for Tuesday
The Orioles confirmed that Bradish (elbow) will be activated from the 60-day injured list to start Tuesday's against the Red Sox at Camden Yards, Jake Rill of MLB.com reports.
As anticipated, Bradish will slot back into the Baltimore rotation this week to make his first appearance for the big club since June 14, 2024, which came less than a week before he required Tommy John surgery with an internal brace. After a lengthy recovery and buildup process, the righty was cleared to begin a rehab assignment shortly after the All-Star break, and though he produced underwhelming numbers overall across his six starts in the minors (4.91 ERA, 1.41 WHIP in 22 innings), he was sharper over his final two appearances at Triple-A Norfolk (2.79 ERA, 1.24 WHIP, 12:4 K:BB in 9.2 innings). Bradish tossed 89 pitches in his most recent outing with Norfolk this past Wednesday, so he shouldn't be operating with much of a workload restriction in his 2025 debut for Baltimore.

Orioles' Kyle Bradish: Likely to start Tuesday
Interim manager Tony Mansolino said Saturday that Bradish (elbow) will likely be activated from the 60-day injured list to start Tuesday's game against the Red Sox in Baltimore, Roch Kubatko of MASNSports.com reports.
The 28-year-old has been on the shelf all season while completing his recovery from June 2024 Tommy John surgery, and he finally appears to have reached the finish line. During the sixth start of his rehab assignment Wednesday, Bradish tossed 89 pitches while covering 4.2 innings and allowing three earned runs on six hits and two walks for Triple-A Norfolk. Overall, Bradish produced a 4.91 ERA, 1.41 WHIP and 25:8 K:BB in 22 innings over stops with Norfolk and Double-A Chesapeake during his assignment.

Orioles' Kyle Bradish: Slated for season debut next week
Orioles interim manager Tony Mansolino said Monday that he expects Bradish (elbow) to return from the 60-day injured list and make his season debut Aug. 25, 26 or 27 against the Red Sox, Andy Kostka of TheBaltimoreBanner.com reports.
Working his way back from June 2024 Tommy John surgery, Bradish struck out nine across five scoreless frames in his most recent rehab outing with Triple-A Norfolk on Thursday. Bradish is slated to make one more rehab start before making his long-awaited return to the Orioles rotation.

Orioles' Kyle Bradish: Dominant in fifth rehab appearance
Bradish (elbow) made a rehab start for Triple-A Norfolk on Thursday, allowing two hits and two walks in five scoreless innings. He struck out nine.
The rehab start was Bradish's third with Norfolk and his fifth overall in the minor leagues amid his recovery from Tommy John surgery, and he was able to build up to 74 pitches on top of dominating the opposition Thursday. As it stands, the Orioles plan to have the right-hander make one final rehab appearance before clearing him to rejoin their rotation and make his season debut, per Jake Rill of MLB.com. Once Bradish is ready to come off the injured list, it would make sense for Baltimore to option the struggling Brandon Young back to the minors.

Orioles' Kyle Bradish: Rehab assignment to continue
Bradish (elbow) is expected to make at least one more rehab start before returning from the 60-day injured list, MLB.com reports.
The 28-year-old right-hander has worked 12.1 innings over four rehab appearances in the minor leagues, producing a shaky 6.57 ERA and 1.54 WHIP. Bradish most recently threw 69 pitches for Triple-A Norfolk on Friday in the fourth start of his rehab assignment, and he could need to complete a couple more starts in the minors before the Orioles consider reinstating him from the injured list. He'll likely be looking to build up to 70-to-80 pitches during his next rehab outing.
