Beavers left Friday's contest after fouling a ball off his shin during the fourth inning, but he didn't suffer any fractures as a result of the incident. He can be considered day-to-day for now, but there's no guarantee he plays again this season with just two games remaining on the schedule.

Beavers fouled a ball off his lower leg during his at-bat in the fourth inning and was replaced on defense once the O's took the field in the bottom of the frame. The severity of the outfielder's injury isn't immediately clear, but with just two games remaining in the regular season, it's possible the team could keep Beavers on the bench to close out the year as a precaution.
Beavers went 1-for-3 with a two-run homer, a walk and a stolen base in Wednesday's 3-1 win over the White Sox.
Following a 10-game stretch in which he went batted .148 (4-for-27), Beavers has three extra-base hits, including a pair of home runs, in his last two contests. The 24-year-old rookie is slashing .277/.423/.470 with three long balls, 13 RBI, 13 runs scored and a pair of stolen bases through his first 105 plate appearances in the big leagues.

Beavers owns a strong .275/.420/.438 slash line with eight extra-base hits and 11 RBI through his first 101 plate appearances, but he has only one steal in two attempts for Baltimore after going 23-for-28 on the basepaths at Triple-A Norfolk prior to his promotion.
