  • Yankees' Carlos Rodon: Works around walks in win

Rodon (14-7) allowed two runs on one hit and five walks while striking out three over 5.2 innings to earn the win over the Red Sox on Sunday.

Rodon has issued a season-high five walks in three of his last seven starts. He was largely able to work around his control issues Sunday, as he gave the Red Sox little to hit, with only a two-run single by Nathaniel Lowe in the sixth inning marring Rodon's line. The 32-year-old southpaw is now at a 3.24 ERA, 1.07 WHIP and 172:65 K:BB through 158.1 innings across 27 starts. He's projected for a favorable road start versus the White Sox in his next outing.

  • Yankees' Carlos Rodon: Punches out five in 13th win

Rodon (13-7) tallied the win Tuesday against Tampa Bay, allowing two runs on five hits and two walks in six innings. He struck out five.

Rodon ran into trouble in the second inning, giving up two runs during the frame, but it was a fine outing otherwise. The All-Star left-hander is now up to 25 outings of at least five innings on the year, and he's conceded greater than three runs on just six occasions in 2025. Through 152.2 innings, he owns a 3.24 ERA, 1.07 WHIP and 169:60 K:BB. The Red Sox are lined up next for Rodon's next appearance this weekend, and Boston has an uninspiring .675 OPS against left-handed pitching since the All-Star break.

  • Yankees' Carlos Rodon: Superb performance in 12th win

Rodon (12-7) earned the win Tuesday against the Twins, allowing one run on one hit and two walks in seven innings. He struck out five.

Rodon gave up one run on one hit and one walk in a shaky first inning, but he more than settled in and was just about untouchable from that point on. Tuesday also represented the first instance since his July 11 start in which the All-Star left-hander pitched at least seven innings, and Rodon now sports a 3.25 ERA, 1.06 WHIP and 164:58 K:BB over 146.2 frames. His next outing is slated for next week in Tampa Bay against the Rays, who have a .604 OPS versus left-handed pitching since the beginning of July.

  • Yankees' Carlos Rodon: No-decision in Texas

Rodon came away with a no-decision in Wednesday's 3-2 win over the Rangers, giving up two runs on six hits and four walks over five-plus innings. He struck out three.

The veteran lefty once again struggled to get the ball over the plate consistently, issuing at least three free passes for the fifth time in his last seven starts. Over that stretch, Rodon has produced a 4.50 ERA, 1.42 WHIP and 40:22 K:BB in 38 innings. He'll try to tighten things up in his next outing, which lines up to come at home early next week against the Twins.

  • Yankees' Carlos Rodon: Uneven showing in no-decision

Rodon took a no-decision in Friday's 13-12 loss to the Marlins, allowing four earned runs on two hits and five walks in 4.2 innings. He struck out nine.

Rodon threw four hitless innings to open his outing, but he ended up getting blasted for four runs in the fifth frame to leave a considerable knock on his ledger. While the All-Star southpaw failed to fire at least five frames for the first time in 2025 while also issuing five free passes, he did come just one strikeout short of tying his season high. Rodon still owns a strong 3.34 ERA, 1.06 WHIP and 156:52 K:BB across 134.2 frames, but things aren't likely to get much easier his next time out, when he's expected to face the AL West-leading Astros in The Bronx.

  • Yankees' Carlos Rodon: Grabs 11th win

Rodon (11-7) earned the win Sunday over the Phillies, allowing three runs on four hits and a walk over 5.1 innings. He struck out eight.

Rodon held the Phillies to just four hits Sunday, though three were solo home runs. Still, the Yankees managed to hang on for a one-run victory and give Rodon his 11th win this season, tied for third-most in the majors. The left-hander sports a 3.18 ERA with a 1.05 WHIP and 147:47 K:BB across 22 starts (130 innings) this season. Rodon is currently lined up to face the Marlins on the road in his next outing.

  • Yankees' Carlos Rodon: Struggles with control in loss

Rodon (10-7) took the loss Monday against the Blue Jays, giving up four runs (two earned) on six hits and five walks in five innings. He struck out four.

The five walks were a season high for Rodon, whose six hits allowed were his most since his June 14 start in Boston. The four strikeouts also tied a season low, but Rodon was able to complete at least five innings for the 21st time in as many starts despite having to fire his second-most pitches (107) of the year. Rodon will bring a strong 3.10 ERA, 1.05 WHIP and 139:46 K:BB across 124.2 frames into his next scheduled outing in Philadelphia against the Phillies, who have a robust .818 OPS versus left-handed pitching since the start of July.

  • Yankees' Carlos Rodon: Dominates for win No. 10

Rodon (10-6) picked up the win Friday over the Cubs after giving up four hits and a walk while striking out eight batters over eight scoreless innings.

After giving up seven runs to the Mets in his last start, Rodon looked like a completely different pitcher Friday. He terrorized the Cubs' lineup for eight innings, generating 17 whiffs in the process. A trio of home runs from Cody Bellinger highlighted a Yankees offense that gave Rodon more than enough support, and a couple of web gems from Aaron Judge helped keep the shutout intact. Although Rodon fell just short of his first complete game as a Yankee, his brilliant conclusion to the first half will give him a 3.08 ERA headed into the break.
