Phillies' Trea Turner: First day off Friday
Turner is not in the lineup for Friday's game in Miami.
Turner had started every game this season -- including both legs of Thursday's doubleheader against the Giants -- so he's earned a day off. Edmundo Sosa will cover shortstop for the Phillies in Friday's series opener.

Phillies' Trea Turner: Collects four hits Tuesday
Turner went 4-for-5 with an RBI single and two runs scored during the Phillies' 7-0 win over the Giants on Tuesday.
Turner set a new season high in hits Tuesday, and he came home to score on a Brandon Marsh sacrifice fly and a Bryce Harper double in the fourth and sixth frames, respectively. Turner's approach at the plate has been better as of late following a slow start, with the veteran shortstop having slashed .271/.358/.441 with two steals, three home runs, seven RBI and an 8:9 BB:K over his last 15 games.

Turner went 1-for-3 with a two-run home run and two walks in Friday's 5-3 loss to Atlanta.
Turner took Grant Holmes deep in the third inning for his third long ball of the season. It was also the shortstop's first multi-walk game of the 2026 campaign, as his on-base percentage has now eclipsed the .300 mark. Turner is slashing a disappointing .229/.302/.362 across 116 plate appearances, with three homers, nine RBI, 15 runs scored, three stolen bases and an 11:22 BB:K.

Phillies' Trea Turner: Homers again Wednesday
Turner went 1-for-2 with a solo home run and a walk in Wednesday's 11-2 loss to the Cubs.
Turner wasted no time getting Philadelphia on the board, crushing a 423-foot solo homer off Shota Imanaga on the second pitch of the game. It was his second home run of the season and extended his strong stretch at the plate. Turner has now recorded a hit in 14 of his last 15 games, batting .283 with seven RBI and 10 runs scored across 64 plate appearances during that span.

Turner went 2-for-4 with a home run and two RBI in Sunday's 4-3 loss to the Diamondbacks.
Turner tied the game with a two-run blast in the sixth inning before adding a single in the seventh. The long ball was his first of the season, and he's now hit safely in eight of 10 April contests with three multi-hit efforts during that stretch. Phillies' Trea Turner: RBI in comeback win
Turner went 1-for-5 with an RBI in Monday's 6-4 win against the Giants.
Turner has been batting leadoff every game this season for the Phillies and starting at shortstop. The two-time All-Star won the National League batting title last season but is off to a slower start in 2026 with a .279 average and only three RBI. As his power diminished last year, Turner was still a menace on the bases while ranking at the top of the sprint speed leaderboard, even while missing most of September with a hamstring injury.

Phillies' Trea Turner: Searching for rhythm this spring
Turner went 2-for-4 with two doubles and two RBI in Thursday's Grapefruit League game against Toronto.
Turner finally broke out of his spring slump a bit, but he's still gone just 4-for-24 (.167) with a trio of doubles and RBI over nine Grapefruit League contests thus far. It's not yet settled if Turner will open the season batting first or second in Philadelphia's lineup, but he's all set to reprise his role as the Phillies' everyday shortstop in 2026 either way. Last year, the All-Star recorded 36 stolen bases, his most since 2018, while hitting .304 with 15 homers, 69 RBI and 94 runs scored and over 589 regular-season at-bats.
