The star shortstop's injury woes have been a big contributing factor in a lost season for the Mets, but Lindor is finally beginning to build some momentum at the plate. He's banged out seven hits in the last three games, and over 16 contests in July he's produced a .271/.358/.475 slash line with three doubles, three homers, eight runs and eight RBI.

Lindor went 3-for-3 with a home run, a double, three RBI and two walks in Sunday's 6-1 win over Philadelphia.
Lindor matched a season high in RBI in what was arguably his best game of the year at the plate, totaling a season-high seven bases. It's been a difficult campaign for the star shortstop amid injury, poor play and trade rumors, so perhaps Sunday's showing will get him going. Through 184 plate appearances, Lindor is slashing .220/.304/.390 with six homers, 18 RBI, two stolen bases and 23 runs scored.
Lindor went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and an RBI double in Sunday's 3-2, extra-inning loss to the Red Sox.
Lindor was responsible for all of New York's offense Sunday -- he opened the scoring with an RBI double in the first inning before extending the lead to 2-0 in the sixth with a solo shot off Brayan Bello. It's a nice way to head into the All-Star break for Lindor, who'd gone just 2-for-20 in his past six games coming into the day. Overall, he's slashing .216/.298/.373 with five homers, 12 RBI, 22 runs scored and two steals across 171 plate appearances this year.
Lindor is not in the lineup for Thursday's game against the Royals.
It's a routine day off for Lindor after he started each of the previous nine contests. Lindor is sporting a disappointing .184/.259/.347 batting line across 12 games since coming off the injured list in late June. Bo Bichette will handle shortstop and Mark Vientos will play third base for the Mets in Thursday's series finale.

The shortstop reached on an error to lead off the game, singled in the second inning and drew a free pass in the ninth, coming around to score each time. Lindor is gaining some momentum at the plate, hitting safely in four straight contests while going 5-for-16 with a homer, two RBI and four runs, but on the season he still carries what would be a career-low .690 OPS through 145 plate appearances.

Lindor tied things up with a two-run triple before scoring what proved to be the game-winning run in the sixth inning. In three games since returning from the injured list Wednesday, the 32-year-old has gone 2-for-12 and has yet to strike out. On the season, he's slashing .219/.305/.352 with seven extra-base hits, seven RBI, 15 runs scored and two steals across just 118 plate appearances.
Lindor isn't in the lineup for Thursday's game against the Cubs.
Lindor went 0-for-5 during his first game back from the IL in the second half of Wednesday's doubleheader, and he'll now step out of the lineup as the Mets ease him back into regular playing time following the extended absence. Ronny Mauricio will fill in as New York's shortstop and bat seventh.
