The shortstop finally appears to be heating up, hitting safely in nine of his past 11 contests with four multi-hit efforts, five extra-base hits, seven RBI and 10 runs scored during that stretch. On the year, he's slashing .242/.327/.439 with 11 homers, 30 RBI, 36 runs scored and three steals across 275 plate appearances.
Lindor went 3-for-6 with a three-run home run in Thursday's win over the Guardians.
The star shortstop continues to swing a better bat as of late. Since the All-Star break, Lindor is batting .260 with five homers, three doubles, one triple and 16 RBI covering 77 at-bats. He's now slashing .230/.311/.422 with 10 long balls, 28 RBI, two stolen bases and 30 runs scored over 257 plate appearances in 2026. so Lindor still has a ways to go to climb back toward his career norms.

It hasn't been a great year at the plate for Lindor, but he appears to be finding his form in the second half of the regular season. He'll end the month of July with an .860 OPS with six home runs and 17 RBI over 107 plate appearances.

Lindor was instrumental in helping New York hang around in the early portion of the game, knocking in his team's first three runs on an RBI triple and a two-run homer. The game was tied 3-3 through five frames, and Lindor added a two-run blast in the eighth inning to cap an 11-run explosion against Atlanta reliever Connor Thomas. Lindor has a trio of three-hit games over 10 contests since the All-Star break, so he may be coming around after a slow start to the campaign. He's still at only eight home runs through 50 contests, so he'd have to finish the season on an absolutely torrid heater to reach 30 long balls for a fourth straight year.
