Anthony DiComo@AnthonyDiComo18H agoHow about that: down to their final out in the ninth, the Mets get a game-tying homer from Tyrone Taylor. https://t.co/T30YbSxITK -
Anthony DiComo@AnthonyDiComo19H agoSean Manaea has allowed three more runs (two earned) today, walking in a run in the seventh. Manaea's ERA is up to 6.75. The Mets have been hesitant to pitch him in all but the lowest-leverage spots, which hasn't helped. But they still owe him around $43 million guaranteed. -
Anthony DiComo@AnthonyDiComo19H agoShades of Luis Castillo... Bo Bichette just dropped a pop-up as a nightmare inning for the Mets continues. https://t.co/CrAF6qxDLC -
Anthony DiComo@AnthonyDiComo19H agoFreddy Peralta has a 2.98 ERA, but his inability to pitch deep into games continues to limit his value. Peralta needed 96 pitches to record 15 outs today. Now, the Mets will ask Sean Manaea to pitch with two men on base in a tie game. It's Manaea's first appearance in a week. -
