  • Bruins' Casey Mittelstadt: Goals in back-to-back games

Mittelstadt scored a goal Saturday in a 5-1 win over Philadelphia.

Mittelstadt's deflection pushed the score to 4-1 midway through the third period. He has scored in each of his last two games, bringing his career total to 98 NHL goals. Mittelstadt remains more of a playmaker than a finisher, but he should cross the century mark soon. Mittelstadt can be a solid 40-45 point contributor, including some power-play production from the second unit.

  • Islanders' Vladimir Dravecky: Massive performance in win

Dravecky scored twice and added three assists in OHL Guelph's 10-5 win over Owen Sound on Saturday.

Dravecky just signed his entry-level deal with the Islanders on Wednesday. He was a fifth-round pick in 2026, but his stock is rising fast. He's opened the campaign with nine points and a plus-8 rating over six contests for the Storm. He's in a great spot for offense with Guelph, but it'll be interesting to see how his defensive work progresses.

  • Ducks' Cutter Gauthier: Leaves Saturday's game

Gauthier (upper body) won't return to Saturday's game versus the Flames.

Gauthier was injured in the first period and ultimately ruled out for the game during the second frame. The 22-year-old's potential absence would be a big one, as he's earned four points over five games to start the season. If Gauthier is out for any stretch of time, A.J. Greer or Nikita Klepov could get chances to fill his top-six role.

  • Mason Lohrei D | BOS

Bruins' Mason Lohrei: Gets game-winner against Philly

Lohrei scored the game-winning goal in Saturday's 5-1 victory over the Flyers.

He jumped into the rush and finished a nice pass from JJ Peterka on a 4-on-2. Lohrei has been showing off his offensive skills with Charlie McAvoy, but the latter will be eligible to return to the lineup against San Jose on Tuesday. Still, Lohrei's offensive talents will likely give him more opportunities. Lohrei has two goals, two assists, six blocks, five shots and one hit in six games.

  • Bruins' JJ Peterka: First two helpers of season

Peterka delivered two assists Saturday in a 5-1 win over the Flyers.

Peterka has two goals, two assists, 10 shots, three hits and two blocks in six games. The assists were his first of the season. Peterka took a step backward offensively last season in Utah, but he possesses plenty of bounce-back appeal this campaign with Boston. He's too good to be a sub-50-point performer.

  • Blues' Dylan Peterson: Receives call-up

Peterson was called up from AHL Springfield on Saturday.

Dillon Dube (neck) and Alexey Toropchenko (upper body) have landed on injured reserve since the season started, so Peterson will serve as a reinforcement to the Blues' forward depth. He had 24 points over 57 regular-season outings with Springfield last year. The 24-year-old forward will likely see bottom-six minutes if he gets into the lineup.

  • Pavel Zacha C | BOS

Bruins' Pavel Zacha: First goal of season

Zacha picked up a goal Saturday in a 5-1 win over the Flyers.

His first goal of the season put the Bruins up 1-0 midway through the first period. Zacha had been held off the scoresheet in the Bruins' first four games, but he now has a goal and an assist in his last two contests. Zacha will probably struggle to replicate his 30-goal, 65-point regular season in 2025-26, as his shooting percentage (22.9) was a huge outlier compared to his career mark (13.0). He has every chance to hit the 50-point plateau this year, as he's done it in three of his last four campaigns. However, fantasy managers may want to expect 20 goals rather than 30.

  • Bruins' Marat Khusnutdinov: First goal since March

Khusnutdinov scored a goal Saturday in a 5-1 win over the Flyers.

He played alongside Fraser Minten and JJ Peterka in Saturday's matchup. Khusnutdinov had a great 2025-26, finishing with 15 goals and 18 assists in 77 regular-season games. However, his last tally came against Dallas on March 31. Khusnutdinov needs to contribute more offensively, especially with linemates like Minten and Peterka.

  • Bruins' Fraser Minten: Three-point outburst in win

Minten had a goal and two assists in a 5-1 victory over Philadelphia on Saturday.

Minten scored his second goal this year. He has five points (two goals, three assists) and 15 shots in his first five games this season. Saturday's outburst marked his second game on the scoresheet in 2026-27, indicating that points in bunches could become a pattern. Minten also scored the game-winner and added an assist against the Rangers on Opening Night.

  • Dan Vladar G | PHI

Flyers' Dan Vladar: Still winless after five goals allowed

Vladar made 27 saves in a 5-1 loss to Boston on Saturday.

Vladar hasn't done anything early in the year to dispel the notion that he should be benched. He has allowed 15 goals in three winless outings. Vladar's 5.08 GAA and .857 save percentage pale in comparison to Joseph Woll's 2.61 GAA and .927 save percentage; Woll is 0-1-2 thus far, but he should get more starts soon because he's been much better than Vladar.
