Schaefer scored a goal Saturday in a 5-4 shootout win over Tampa Bay. He also had four hits.
It was Schaefer's first game back after being scratched for four straight games. The goal was his first point this season in his seventh game. Schaefer tried to make an impression with his physicality, which increased his season hit total to 13. It was a nice night, but it remains to be seen if it's enough to keep him in the lineup full time.
