  • Bruins' Jeremy Swayman: Starting against Vegas

Swayman will start Monday's home game against the Golden Knights, Adam Pellerin of NESN reports.

Swayman got the night off Saturday against Chicago, but he'll return to the crease Monday for the fourth time in the Bruins' last five games. The 27-year-old has struggled to enter the win column recently, going 1-2-1 with a 3.23 GAA and .870 save percentage across his last four outings.

  • Panthers' Jacob Markstrom: Starting Monday

Markstrom (upper body) will be activated from injured reserve ahead of his return to the crease in Monday's home matchup against Detroit, Doug Plagens of the Panthers Radio Network reports.

Markstrom missed five games after suffering an upper-body injury during a team practice. He has a 3-1-1 record, one shutout, a 2.21 GAA and an .897 save percentage in six outings this season. Detroit (6-5-3) is tied for 23rd in the league with 2.79 goals per game this campaign.

  • Penguins' Evgeni Malkin: Considered day-to-day

Malkin is considered day-to-day due to a lower-body injury and won't participate in Monday's practice session.

Malkin has logged two multi-point performances across his last three appearances, but it's not yet clear whether he'll be available Tuesday against Vegas due to his lower-body issue. Justin Brazeau (lower body) was recalled from his conditioning assignment Monday and could enter the lineup against the Golden Knights if Malkin is unavailable.

  • Penguins' Elmer Soderblom: Deemed week-to-week

Soderblom (upper body) is week-to-week, per Penguins PR on Monday.

Pittsburgh moved Soderblom to injured reserve Wednesday, and he has already missed the last two games. It's unclear when he will be ready to return to the lineup. Soderblom has contributed one assist, five shots on net, four blocked shots and 15 hits in six appearances this season.

  • Penguins' Kaedan Korczak: Won't practice Monday

Korczak is considered day-to-day due to a lower-body injury and won't practice Monday.

Korczak has appeared in each of the Penguins' first 14 games of the regular season, and he's recorded six assists, 20 blocked shots, 11 hits and four PIM while averaging 18:21 of ice time. It's not yet clear whether he'll be available for Tuesday's game against the Golden Knights, but Ilya Solovyov will be a candidate to enter the lineup if Korczak is sidelined.

  • Capitals' Logan Thompson: Beaten four times Sunday

Thompson stopped 24 of 28 shots in Sunday's 5-1 loss to the Wild. Minnesota's fourth goal was an empty-netter.

Thompson surrendered two goals in the opening six minutes but kept Washington within striking distance until Maxim Shabanov's late power-play tally. The netminder finished with an .857 save percentage as the Capitals' three-game winning streak ended. Despite the disappointing outing, Thompson's established starting role and Washington's competitive roster should continue providing substantial fantasy value. His uneven record may raise eyebrows, though. He's gone 5-4-0 with a 2.93 GAA and an .898 save percentage in nine starts.

  • Wild's Jesper Wallstedt: Makes 26 saves in road win

Wallstedt stopped 26 of 27 shots in Sunday's 5-1 win over the Capitals.

Wallstedt delivered a strong performance, finishing with a .963 save percentage while holding Washington to a single second-period goal. The young netminder made several important third-period stops to preserve Minnesota's narrow advantage before the Wild pulled away late. His continued efficiency behind a team that has allowed two goals or fewer in five of its last six games strengthens his fantasy outlook. He's been excellent so far with a 9-2-3 record, a 2.06 GAA and a .920 save percentage in his 14 appearances to date.

  • Kirby Dach C | MON

Canadiens' Kirby Dach: Still dealing with illness

Dach (illness) won't participate in Monday's practice.

Dach also missed Saturday's 5-4 win over Pittsburgh due to an illness. His absence from Monday's skate doesn't bode well for his availability for Tuesday's matchup against Winnipeg, but he still has some time to recover. Dach has earned three assists, eight shots on net, six blocked shots and 18 hits in 13 appearances this season.

  • Wild's Kirill Kaprizov: Reaches 500 career points Sunday

Kaprizov scored an empty-net goal in Sunday's 5-1 win over the Capitals.

Kaprizov reached 500 career NHL points with his league-leading 15th goal of the season, becoming the second Wild player to reach the milestone. He did it in 413 games, tying Evgeni Malkin for the fourth-fastest mark among active players. Records aside, Kaprizov remains one of the best fantasy options regardless of the format due to his scoring ability and overall involvement as a key player for Minnesota. In addition to scoring 15 goals and tallying 25 points in just 16 games, Kaprizov is also averaging 3.3 shots on goal per game.

  • Maxim Shabanov RW | MIN

Wild's Max Shabanov: Scores with man advantage

Shabanov scored a power-play goal in Sunday's 5-1 win over the Capitals. He took five shots on goal and added two hits.

Shabanov restored Minnesota's two-goal advantage with 2:23 left in regulation. The tally was his fifth of the season and gave the Wild breathing room following Washington's second-period comeback attempt. Shabanov has strong fantasy upside due to his involvement on the man advantage and has been seeing the puck well lately, scoring in three of his last four appearances.
